I am trying to update the 19-20yos in my scouting list. Will send you suggestions if I have any. Time is limited lately :/

We figure there are only two ways we can miss guys. A: they were sold by their teams and we then would need to check the wires over 5-6 seasons on 40 or so teams or B: they ditched them out of the Academy right after pulling them. We are sure there are some out there but time is limited here too...

25 exp 19yo center, better CL than Dwight Neath, estimed EoS OR: 1420, @20: 1602
Terry Côté

VERY high exp (98) 19yo center. Eos OR: 1344 (1517 @20)
he lacks a bit of shooting compared to Côté, but the exp could be tempting.
Jedediah Doyle

In comparison, Neath's EoS OR: 1503 (1697 @20)
Benson's: 1515 (1718 @20)
Benjamin Newell: 1657 @20
Charlton: 1576 @20
Edward Rork: 1554 @20
Denis Montgomery 1537 @20

You also have Salvador Costa as another C. EoS: 1468 (1678 @20)

(we were VERY strong on center last season on the U18)

Also, Universal W (19yo) EoS OR 1343 (1535 @20)
Devan Knight

19yo RW: Dale Forster EoS: 1388 (1566 @20)

And 19yo LD: Chance Cliff EoS: 1353 (1532 @20)

There are a few more "probables" listed in my scouting spreadsheet. If you need the link again to take a look, let me know. I have not analyzed position bias yet but these guys definitely stand out (if not this season, definitely for the next, given they don't get traded or their teams don't go inactive)!

Oh, and forgot:
Nicolas Krolouski is your best bet as far as having a 19yo goalie in the midst.

Sadly, McMahon was traded to team with crap facilities, so his current OR trend will not hold up.

But both Ivan Lebrun and Jonahthon Chamberland will have a higher OR than him next season (as well as Fenwick and Koplin), so I don't know that it's even worth investing any time in him.

Good thanks for that. Yeah, those guys are all on our lists. We actually cut Montgomery at C 'cause we had six 20 year old's this season. We felt Bright off of Garfield was a tad better. Center was our strongest point last season and it will probably be the same this one as well.

Yeah, we don't like the goalie situation really for next season. It really does look like shit. We also have O'Bryan off of Black Sheep as a decent option but, overall, it is very bad indeed.

Caiden Bright's estimated EoS OR is 1518. He does have a bit more exp than the other guys atm, but the only thing he has over montgomery is shooting (and a bit of defense), and given some of the 19yo will have a similar OR by the end of the season, maybe he should just be a reservist, anyway?

I didn't even have O'Bryan scouted. That's a bad sign, ha!

As for the goalie situation, Chamberland or Lebrun will likely both come with a fair amount of exp and maximum starting chemistry next season, as well as better stats at 19 than your current 20yo goalies if the trend keeps up, so it won't be so bad.

Yeah, that should help the guy who runs the team the season after but I am not looking at that. Anyways, the two guys this season are average to good so...that's fine for now.

Yeah, we still have five 20 year old's at center which is too many anyways but we will look at the situation once the roster is filled. It's a good problem.

Goalies is always a tricky position. You only need two goos ones, but personally I only got 3-4 decent goalies ever through draft and SA. Two of them being 17 yo at the moment.

Must be nice. The only good goalies I see are the boys of the national teams...actually, I take that back. That was you that I outbid to get my hands on our guy Maclean. Still, we had to pay for him...
