They were on the market for 7 days. It's not like they went on the market for 20 minutes and poof were gone. I agree it sucks that the closing bid times might suck in our timezone, but that's true of all auctions not just these auto ones
I don't see what the big uproar is over players starting and ending at the same time when you have 7 days to bid on them. And they didn't ALL go on sale at the same time, only so many teams at a time. Maybe too many teams were going at once? I don't know.
Personally I say rather than do them all at end of season, when a team goes +, start the team selling off on the market within like a month
Obviously the devs have decided there was a problem, and that's cool, but in this I do agree with Bizzy, if we are going to stop the sales, we should fix the ones that have happened.

I only have one issue with the amount of time people had to bid on them. Because so many high OR players went so cheaply, it is extremely clear that the vast majority of the community had no idea what was going on. Yesterday the same players selling at the same time went for millions of dollars. Clearly the jig was up.
Honestly, the game does a very poor job with notifications. People may say it's not the game's job to tell us what's going on. I think it is their responsibility. We never know when bugs are fixed, when the devs know about bugs, when updates occur (like yesterday when the team national OTR rank appeared on the team page). We won't find out when the pro players page is completed, we will have to click around and happen upon it by accident. And we (as a community as whole) didn't find out that these players were on the market, causing a huge problem (in my opinion) with the economics of the game.
The issue comes down to communication. Once the issue was communicated, the problem went away. But the first day and the first occurrence caused big problems, that still exist right now. All of these transactions need to be removed, money returned and a better system needs to be in place. Ignoring the problems that occurred over and over is not enough for me. They need to be rectified retroactively.
I am committed to this game and like it a lot, and I will likely stay around with it a long time. But there are problems with having a level playing field and major communication/information problems and they need to be addressed in my opinion before the game can really move forward. Hopefully the Facebook-announced new home page can help with communication.

I don't think they need to tell us that players are going to go on sale, otherwise that takes out the point of looking. Now, if they wanted to say a month or so ago that at the end of the season players would start going on sale? maybe, but then they would have to do it every season for all the new managers who joined.
I agree sometimes communication can be an issue, but sometimes it's an issue from us as well, we can thrash and scream and holler and whine for no good reason sometimes, and I know if I was a dev i'd start to tune some of the issues that people complain about out, so I give them credit for still listening

Searching the market is already a horrid task thanks to PPMs inability to stop daytraders from selling 1-atty junk players. I just did a search for players 300+ OR or better (basic search) and 90%+ of the results were crap players trained up by a**hole managers ripping off the system.
And when a good player does come up, there are people with shitloads more money than others thanks to either selling these 1-atty junk players, or thanks to the system heavily favoring top teams with big sponsor deals.

Well, no offense, but I wouldn't ever search by OR anyways since it really doesn't matter. There are more and better ways to search than just by that.
Too many teams are throwing playoff games because they don't want to get promoted. They can get more money by being the big fish in the small pond and staying in the lower divisions than actually playing the game properly and being a mid to lower end team in a higher division. This needs looking at too. Surely a win the the 1st league should get you a lot more OTR points than a win in the lower leagues? I would suggest these need to be scaled accordingly.
Personally I'm playing to get to the top of division 1. I've been promoted to that league now after starting in div 4 and I know I'm not going to win it straight away and survival is the aim next season, but if I'm not getting as many OTR points, my money will go down and make it harder and harder. I would say 90% of the teams in division 1 should have a higher sponsorship income than the teams in the 2nd division and so on.

While I agree that there is an issue with players with 1 skill trained going for millions, I don't blame the managers for trying to get as much as they can for any one player.
The real issue is that other managers are willing to buy them.... This in itself is the real problem TB.
They are obviously NOT well educated when looking for players for future games.
Maybe a couple of articles about buying players and what to look for, may help newbies and those who are not so old in the game??

there could help feature average price for player becouse a lot if these junkies ar going for low money - we see only those ones who goes over 10kk. new managers could see average price for that kind of player and decide why junkie average money is only 2kk but player who is trained 100/50/50 costs double
You all know there is a problem with finance that is giving advantage to the teams that are at the top of the lower leagues from those at the middle of the top league. PPM is in situation that teams want to drop out from the top league and they are doing everything possible to succeed in that. They are buying players with minimal skills, energy, experience and don’t even care about giving money for such a bad player. That’s not sport!
We all know that in real world it’s a matter of prestige and bigger financial profit to play at the highest level of competition, no matter where the team is placed on the table. As a confirmation, every season in every league there is a constant struggle for survival. Its also well known that last team on the table of The Premier league is earning 10 x more money than the best team in Championship(2nd level of English football league).
I think there shouldn’t be a big difference between teams and the rich shouldn’t be even richer, its necessary to make some changes. I know you have a good development team that was finding the best solutions in many occasion and I believe you will solve this problem also.
I have also noticed that the prize money is the same for the 6th place in 1st league and for the 1st place in 2nd league, profit is the same, I guess there is approximately same calculation for general sponsor money. Then, team ratings should have lower influence (I am saying that as someone on 125th-130th position) and league wherein club is competing and its position influence should be bigger. I believe there is a place for improvement, new season is starting soon and I think it is right time to do something about that.
What do you think about this?

its bad idea becouse young players couldnt reach those ones who palyes for begining and also there will be to no big changes in I.1 becouse they could afford better players, biger arenas and so on. only rotation what will be would be with these 4 last places
all players over 250AI are sold either when they are fired or when the team disappears. This was originally meant to stop the good players (that could be playing on national teams disappearing) but seems to have gotten out of hand.
In my opinion 250AI is too low and should be about 350 by now.
In any case it is being looked at by the devs.

I think that the global skill criterium should be removed, since it will change every season. I reckon that only NT players should be put on the market and perhaps also players with an average quality of over 80% as they will be the talents for the future on every country.
