Is it just me or is there some kind of a problem with automatic friendly match search? Try to fill in the numbers and see if its possible. Thx in advance.
As a suggestion for a better way to handle defunkt teams, I think it'd be a good idea to use a rough time zone estimate on when to post the players.
For example, teams from Canada and the US who are defunkt, would have their players' auctions ending at something like 9pm Eastern time.
Players from Europe would be 9pm GMT+2, (or whatever their time zone is per country).
That way a bunch of players' auctions aren't ending while a good portion of PPM users are sleeping.
Let's be honest people ,the PPM market is kinda like ebay: If you're not monitoring the auction at it's end, chances are you aren't going to win the auction.

hmm, this is really not good like it is now, all this was planned in season 1 to keep best players in the game, we must change the system, will be done soon, probably only nat team players will be handled like this
we stopped sending new players from dead teams to market, there are some more for next few days, which will stay there, but we have to decide if this should be done somehow in the future... it has also good aspects, for example game inflation is lower due to this but we still must decide
So the teams who purchased 30+ 280-330 players for 10,000 each get to keep them...sounds terrible.
It seems like every step of the way there are crippling issues. In the beginning when the site would crash there was backup plan for the market, so hundreds and thousands of players were sold way under market value or not at all. Then soccer launched with strange bugs and wrong lineups playing, etc. Seemingly these things could've and should've been caught in beta. Now hundreds of high OR players are swept up by a handful of teams, destined to make ridiculous sums of money (see how much the same players went for 20 minutes ago and you get an idea of the huge sums of money these people just walked away with, putting most of the community at a huge disadvantage compared to them. Problems should be fixed retroactively in addition to moving forward, because there will be additional problems found as time goes on. To be reactive to these situations just separates us all further and drives people (like me) away when the battle line is not drawn fairly. How many people are asleep when these massive amounts of players hit the market? Today it was fair. There was warning, understanding and many players sold for market value. Yesterday they did not. They should all be removed from the game completely, retroactively.

Some people are at work etc during these times, this is an international game, there really is no "fair" time to hit the market with this many players.
How many managers have left in the US alone due to the problems?

What about next time developers taking out all the one atty junk out of the market. Therefore decent players go for an inflated price with managers getting their playoff position money and there isn't the opportunity for day traders to rip off other managers and make a huge profit. I like the suggestion with putting players into the market at a convenient time for the player's nationalities managers as it gives more people the chance to pick up a player and players won't go so cheap and better players stay in the game.
I would not do it in this way. maybe you only have to save the best 10% of all this players and only if they have DQ>60 and OR>x points. x is a parameter which is calculated automatically, let's say an average of all players in all I. leagues...
and another important thing: don't make same deadline for all players. chose DL randomly, not all to 23:50!

The issue isn't that they went on the market, it's that they all went on, and ended at exactly the same time.
If they were spread evenly over a 24hr period then there would be no issue.

Why couldn't they have been put on the market for a period of days so people could actually have a chance to see them and bid? I think it's a nice feature to keep a certain amount of players in the game like this just in a fair way. Like Tuttle says tho evaluating which players is in order otherwise in a few season every player from every established team goes out there.
