Jeffrey Bradley is probably close enough if you're desperate for attackers.
McHenry (also an attacker) is probably my only player over ~23 with much of a promising future.
If you want Meador on the team, I might have to sell him since he's currently a backup on my team since last season and won't get much experience outside of exhibitions.

Thanks - McHenry is being scouted now. I was able to add Al Copeland, which helped our short-term depth out. I'm still looking for one more, but the big issue is going to be longer-term. We never had that many great forwards anyway, and most of the ones we had went dormant...
FYI we're in the Intercontinental Cup Final today. Luckily Brazil lost in the semis, so we have a chance
We won 2-0! This is the first time the USA has won this tournament. We're back into respectability Keep playing those USA players in your matches to build their experience. We're going to make a hard run at the World Cup the next 2 seasons. Hopefully we'll qualify and make the knockouts - that's the goal.
Hello, fellow citizens - topic for discussion.
I've been following your national team for a while now and I have to say that the results are below average! A team like this should play a little better! I don't know how you like these results, I don't like them! As a native American, I would like to do something about it. I offered my experience to your manager, but he refused. And so something to think about - isn't it the right time to think about changing the national team manager at the end of the season?

Nice match and nice result. Finally, our strength has shown itself. Also the results should be more often!

So I didn't realize this thread existed. Hi I'm the current national team manager. Just a quick update. We will be progressing from our group at the Intercontinental Cup. If we get really lucky we could take the group, though I expect third is our most likely finish in a very tough group. I don't often monitor the forums but I'll try to provide updates as often as possible. If someone has suggestions for players, I'd be glad to take them, either here or in a pm. I especially would like goaltending and forward prospects for the next call up but I will evaluate any and all suggestions. Thanks.
Update: We gave Argentina a game but couldn't match them for talent. This week we play Colombia on the road. We beat them at home last time around but on the road will be tough. To hold third, we just need to match or better Peru's result against India. Peru crushed India at home but India gets to be the home team this time so maybe it will be closer. India has been very tough to beat at home so far, with one win, two draws, and one loss. Theoretically, if we beat Colombia by three or more goals, we could take second but I don't find that particularly realistic. Regardlesss, we are guaranteed to advance. As before, submit any and all prospects to my attention. Thanks.
Update: We got a draw with Colombia on the road, which was a solid result. Unfortunately, Peru stole a late goal against India so we will be finishing fourth in the group by one point. On to the second group stage. Next on the calendar is a friendly with Slovakia on the road.
Update: Groups for the finals have been released. We got really unlucky in the draw. We have Argentina and Colombia again, along with China. My best guess for this is 2nd-3rd. 1st and 2nd advances.
