I think you know of my three Americans, all from the same team (now defunct). Let me know if you want any more intel on them.

Looks like the Canadians and Americans will be making another appearance in the world cup next season- We didnt get the group of Death compared to our Real Life counterparts. Group 3 looks difficult

Sharrard is definitely in the team, I tried Macon on season 11 and he's not good enough, we already have Sharrard, McCready, Ricky, Adams, Wofford, and a few others

Same for Thom Knight. In his position we already have Queen, Woody, Hammons, Carpenter, and are considering a few others

No problem. I should have gotten a few more players from GirouxGiroux but all the cash he got for the "Three Musketeers" as I call them made him want to make a run at soccer and keep a few other good prospects he had.

He quit PPM a few months later and they were gone. Glad I saved Sharrard though!

He had good ones and needed cash. I almost had Sharrard for 10M but a European came on late at night and bid me up to 35M if I recall correctly.

Prices have really gone up since then! Now, as most teams are finishing up their stadiums and facilities, they have money to really drive up the prices of the players. I'll probably not buy anyone else for several seasons (except for mediocre, B+ level youngsters). I just can't compete. I got lucky that I was able to buy Adam Asplund for 50M, I think he'd go for much more than that now (22 yo that has a match rating of 51! He has great qualities too!! (Off, Sho, and Spe in the mid 80s)

Keep in mind that was several weeks' pay at that point. Teams were only making 5-8M/week if I recall correctly.

Yep, against a great team too. It's not easy beating the top 10 away. Spicer was on fire today, he stopped 5 SOG. The offence could be stronger, but overall we have a very solid team.
