If you're playing with 40 min games, 5 is right. With 48 min games it'd be 6, that's what I meant
I think that they are using international rules. In the olympics, if I'm not mistaken, the length of the game is 4 10-min quarters, there's 5 fouls (doesn't matter if personal or technical) and you're out, and there's no restrictions on playing zone defense (unlike in the NBA). Plus, the dimensions of the court are different, but I doublt that's a factor in this type of game, it might be noticeable in an 2k14-style game (I'm not even sure if there is one for the Euro league or national teams), but here it doesn't matter. So yes, they are using international (FIBA) rules, as far as I can tell
Which attributes have an effect on free throw percentage? I looked in the guide and it didn't say anything.
The only attribute I can imagine that would increase FT % is shooting since players are just standing there shooting the ball.
At least until they come up with some kind of clutch player attribute.

Depending, I could see technique having an impact. Though the more I think about it, the more I think that technique and shooting are pretty redundant.
What is good shooting if not good technique?

well i dont think Noah has a good technique but he is pretty damn good compared to others player with bad technique : Shaq for example.
but i agree a combination of tec and sho should make a great FT in this game at least.
in handball tec doesn't seen to affect shooting probably because shooting attribute perhaps is a combination of all needed skills.

Regarding technique, the one thing i've noticed most is that those with high tech dont commit as many turnovers. Supposedly it helps with the shot but i've not seen anything that stood out yet that indicates theres much of an advantage regarding shot percentage. I have a feeling tech is going affect ones dribbling ability, possibly passing as well, more so that shooting.
Then again, i could be 100% wrong and high tech could mean the diference between shooting underhand granny style verses one handed behind the back full courters.

I thought technique was about dunking and layups etc, which is why I don't understand that it is so low for centres and power forwards.
And defense, at least my low technique center commits a large amount of fouls.

I love the game and the guide is very detailed. I know it is still being worked on but I had a few questions such as:
Why are the players I sent to training camp still playing in games (as subs) when I have other subs available?
Why are Quarters only 10 minutes (not 12) and why do players foul out at 5 fouls (instead of 6?)
Also how do I set a captain?

10 min Vs 12 min and 5 fouls Vs 6 is because the game is using FIBA international rules not NBA.
As far as training camp it is possible you dont have enough players not in camp to play a mach so they return to play the match.

I have my entire team (12 players) set in my lineup. However because my 3 training camp players are the top 3 in the list, they are being pulled from camp to play?
it might be a bug. I think if you put a player in camp the lineup it should create a random lineup i think. (not that is what you want anyways)
i think you placed them in the lineup even though you may not have assigned them to play. If you let them sitting in the "bench" they should not play.

I have them in my "bench." I have all 12 players set in my lineup, with my starting 5 set and 7 players on the "bench" with their positions set. However, despite being in training camp it keeps using those players as subs (when someone fouls out). I wonder if it is because they are listed as my first 3 subs, thus ignoring the training camp designation.
