Is that Civ 6 or another Civ 5 expansion?
Civ 6: After Earth. It takes place on another planet, apparently.
Do any civilization games really take place on earth, unless you are playing a special scenario? I suppose it could sort of be a continuation of the space race result from past games.

THAT would be a cool backstory. I think it'd be cool if the new CIV game had that sort of history (and it weren't just a completely new system with new leaders, etc.)

The biggest problem with Civilization is that the new games aren't really that different from the old games (I've played 3 and 4, though the religions and and vassals are a bit irritating in 4).
I wish they'd take the time from making the graphics prettier and really teach the AI how to play for a change. I would love to play a Civ game with an AI as good as vanilla Gal Civ 2.
Have not been to Civfantics in a while. so did miss this!! Not Alpha Centauri, but this will do!!!
