One more question, the players that are now twenty years old are not going to be included in the U20 team, right?
1) The database doesn't seem to group players by the correct position a lot of the time. A lot of the side players I uploaded became center players in the listings. It might be better to broaden the range of of acceptable ratios for each position, perhaps calculate the best fitting position (for 15 year olds without ratios), or just use the ratio that the manager seems to be using.
2) Could the database take into consideration experience? If so, what would be the proper conversion factor from experience to OR? At the very least, it might be helpful to have a column for experience for a national team general manager to consider along with the projections.
3) Facilities will definitely need to be integrated, however, it might be possible to manually imput the facilities as an intermediate solution. I'm sure that managers would be happy to provide data to help determine the exact effect of facilities (if you haven't already derived it from the code or some blog). I suppose that any candidates could come up with a multiplier on their own to apply to the data; it would be helpful to at least see the level of facilities with the projections though.
4) I definitely think that it is important to consider the quality of coaching. At one point, my soccer team had better training facilities but my hockey team had better staff; the hockey players were making better improvements than the soccer players. A potential manager could possibly derive their own multiplier instead; it would be helpful to at least see the combined OR of the coaches, pysiotherapists, and directors.
5) I'm pretty sure that there was an article at some point that claimed that CL statistics are not necessarily whole numbers. A player with CL of 5/6 may not be worse than a player with CL of 6/6. You might at least calculate the margin of error arising from this fact if the exact CL cannot be determined.
6) When choosing players for the u18 hockey team, I made a spreadsheet of all the players I was interested in from teams from the United States and from the last three years on their transfer lists. I basically extrapolated their rate of growth (determined by comparing OR to the OR at the time of posting to the database), correcting for any training camps I noticed. I only used facilities and staff (and other factors) as a tiebreaker and to corroborate with the rate of growth. Of course, this method was only really reliable for comparing the players for a few years later (without accounting for changes that will in the future cause a change to the rate of growth). My point is that facilities and staff might not be absolutely necessary if you can import the data from updates to the original database (perhaps to use in an alternate projection); also, projections for a few years down the road (as you seem to have planned) might be more helpful and accurate than projections for a player at 30 years old. You might ask someone with ProPack to give you a player's initial stats and try to compare the player's current stats to the stats that would have been projected at this point.
7) Generally, it might be helpful to include all relevant information that cannot be integrated into the formula for reference, though the information not readily available from ctrl+U might have to be manually added by managers.
8) Hopefully I've made at least some worthwhile contributions within my rambling wall of text.

currently I have included. I am not sure if they will qualify to play next season. I can change that by request if someone confirm no player currently at 17 can make the U17 and no player currently at age 20 can make the U20 team when new managers can start calling the players.
1) For now the way to determine if center or side is very simplistic. Going to add more details soon and help getting the positions correctly.
2) Experience affects Player Rate not OR and also we never know if player will actually play games to gain experience. Experience is a "hidden" value from general public. ALL attributes will be available for National Managers. There is a feature (have not make available yet) that shows players current Game Rate. I can add those current numbers to the table and plan to do so.
I need to better study Player Rate, predict at what age a player would make first team and thus gain much more experience and lots of stuff. I can say it will be very complex.
3) I already included the facility level in the website. I have data from all USA. Now need to figure it out the training ratio per each level. I sure can get some help from managers on that. I did not keep track on this of my own. Shame on me
4) Coach quality is something a general manager cannot see as it is hidden. It does affect but coaching skills affect can be implemented assuming an average coach quality people would likely have at specific facilities levels.
5) I run several interactions to calculate CL penalty factor. So a 4/6, for example, will be different to each player it will be different.
6) Facilities level are easy to collect and easy to implement. In your suggestion Id have to keep history (and i dont, perhaps i should lol) and would have to have at least 3 seasons worth of data to have something worth using in a formula.

note on player position: I have another way to get position already implemented elsewhere that is very reliable that i need to implement in this projection feature.
That is correct, players will all age before the teams start, so only players who are currently 15 or 16 will be on the first U17 team. Players who are currently 17, 18, and 19 will be eligible for the first U20 team.
ok.
changed the age range. Also added experience using graphics. 5 stars is the maximum experience and currently no player in my database has reached that.
There is only one player with 4 stars, currently and he is a 25 year old from Czech Filip Frous
So in short, 3.5 stars is pretty much as experienced as it could currently be.
it requires pretty much a full season to achieve half star. (well at least that is what my players would require)

Not related to National Team .. I have added Team Formation feature where it tries to setup your best formation based on match rate from previous matches.
ability to add matches will be given to those helping inserting players into the database.

It now allows filter by Training Facility Level and table also shows player's league.
I think what I have now is enough to help NT managers make their decisions on player's selection thinking on long term future.

note: I am still working on inserting teams to the database. I have inserted D1 and D2 from over 25 countries.
7 countries I have also inserted D3.
soon all teams are going to be there.

Important note: The goal of this website is not only help NT managers but teams as well and specially new managers.
I am tired of playing against team nonames and our league is weak. We need new committed managers to help build the future of USA.
If anyone wants to write tutorials (on how to be successful planning for now and future) , information and etc that can help new managers, feel free to contact me so i can add those information to the website.

Players projection were recalculated. This time I am using the current players facilities to calculate the projection.
It does not consider possibility (and we know it will happen) that manager will upgrade the facilities. In order to do so I have to change a lot of things, so not doing it for now. Have plans to implement it in near future.
In case I dont have the team's facilities, I have setup default of facility level 10 ratio.

guys .. found an issue. It can and will be fixed. It affects mostly the players I imported from other database.
Dont import any players till i have a fix placed as it will afffect how players are saved in the database.
Thanks.

Thanks.
Problem is fixed and can now import new players.
Players I imported from other database need to be imported into my website as many of then are outdated. some are from 5 seasons ago making it very difficult to predict career based on current facility level.
So please ALL, import the players you have.

I added a column Scouted. Values mean:
1. True -> Player has been scouted and imported by someone.
2. False -> Those were players imported from Market. Attributes values, as you know, are estimated.
3. Blank -> Those are ones that have been imported from other database and need to be re-imported to calculate projections properly based on actual Facility levels.
