I think you should define the starters and keep those. anyone not defined as starter and under 20 should move to other teams to gain experience. We fill the void (lost ones) with new players we are yet to find.
I have not looked for new USa in a while. From my scout list there inst many great prospect players left to be scouted, however this one here deserves to be scouted IMO

His facilities are not very good.... His training will not keep up to where it should be at. He will prolly only make a good U-20 player and never make the NT.
Some under 20 year olds are valuable back-ups. I am pretty sure that the biggest change we will see next near is Henne, Ashcraft, and either Ricky or Vincent take a more dominate role in their position--- If it wasnt for experience and chemistry Henne and Ashcraft could easily start the tough games.

I've been training Scott Bench as a forward based on my team needs. You can probably subtract about 40 OR based on my changing his position. I assume that there will be better forwards or goalies than he could become. Should I train him to be a goalie instead?
I found a bug:
Charles Dougherty is being trained as a CM, but he's showing up as a CD for the U20 team on your site.

It would be nice to be able to sort by team as well, to make it easier to see when my players need to be updated (or check to see if their position is correct).

I like the site and I appreciate the work you've put in developing it. I wouldn't mind being involved in the development or review of the methodology, if you would like assistance.
Some quick questions though:
1) Are you solely using a player's current (or at time of upload) CL or have you tracked many of the players listed? Are there plans to track the CL history as players are updated each season?
2) Do you plan to perform actual to expect analysis from season to season? I understand the assumption involving max facilities would limit the number of players that could reasonably be analyzed for this purpose.
3) Does your methodology account for training camps and injuries?
4) I assume you're utilizing some form of effective quality to predict training. Is the effective quality formula fixed by position or based upon the player's current ratio?
5) What is the maximum increase per season that you're predicting for a player with perfect conditions? If you have this by age, that would be ideal.

Hmm, another problem - I added Junior Faulk to the database, but I don't see him listed anywhere for the U17 team (or the other teams, for that matter). He seems to be in the database though because it said "updated" rather than "added" when I put his info in a second time.
The Position needs some tweak. I was working on it quick in the middle of the night
I also noticed earlier a forward listed as SD
I will check the player why it is not showing since it was "updated" not inserted.
When insert new players i need to refresh the table. To run the script to calculate took more than a minute so i am not doing it runtime. at least now for now.

actually i want assistance. And need it it a lot
For instance I dont know for sure the improvement ratio of a 6/6 player at one 99 attribute. I used based from player I bought from a manager who had fully developed his facilities and that was 1.5 and this is fixed now. With some help from people who already knows the real ratio values (you and the implementation of training facility it can be more precise.
I do not count injury or training camp. Already, because of the random factor, the final OR can be as much as 500 points different than the projected.
I am using what I believe is the best primary/secondary/shooting ratios for each position. This is something someone more experiment could help tweaking.
so i "train" the player year by year but only showing the result of the player at age 30. CL gets changed, based on my formula, year by year and thus the intensity of training is changed year after year, if CL gets changed.
I had it before showing every player year by year. It was "complicated" for people to see and use so i removed it for now, but have plans to add that once i have everything tweaked and fixed.
specifically answering your questions
1. It uses the age of player when inserted/updated to the database (and i run the script to update the projection). Have plans to display year by year to help team managers.
2. Yes, I project from actual to future, year by year.
3. It does not account as it would be impossible to predict injuries. Do not include training camp.
4. Formula is based on my own train ratio. I can get some help from other managers to tweak/change that but it will be fixed.
5. For now I am using 1.5 as max but need some help to get more precise values per facility level when i implement facility.

Prior to this version it was build to allow sort by team managers. I plan to put that back soon. There are more features for team managers that i removed, for now.
While I have a maxed training facility and coaches, I do not quite have a maxed regeneration facility and physiotherapists (currently 14 and 96/96).
My top trainee last night was a 15 year old, 6/6 recent purchase (so not much training history), who trained a 97 Q for 1.92. Looking at my top prospect, he's been able to train a 99 Q for 1.96 at 16 and 6/6. That is most likely my highest without training camp/NT bonus. If you'd like more data on him, I can send it to you. He's been with my team for about a season and trains 2 99Qs on a fairly consistent basis.

I know regeneration and coaches have effect, but that is something i sure will not be able to that level of detail. the idea is to figure it out what sort or coach a player at facility level would likely have and estimate the training ratio for that level.
Id have to get information from different managers to implement facilities. I will change the factor to 2.0
