I didn't find any As. But I did find my 17th B, so I'll be sure to get one of them at #17

I value the exp gain more than a bit more OR. The top goal scorer in I.1 history is a pretty average Sandy Bragg. I attribute a lot of his scoring to being pulled so early, to having a ton of exp. he's out-performed much better players for years. I think he'd still be top 10 if Obryantj didn't have those two studs to replace him.
Of course I could be wrong. There's so many other factors involved that you just never know. I guess what it really comes down to is that I want exp to matter.
I'd actually like it to be more important than it is. I would like there to be no doubt that it improves play. I think it would force more teams to play younger players sooner. Or it would help the weaker teams who can't afford studs. They could stick with some older players and have very decent success.

I attributed at least some of Bragg's scoring to style of play as well. Bragg prefers the right side and I attacked down the right side for many seasons and had Max Mark at RM and a series of CMs who preferred the right side. Add in a forward with decent passing on the other side and a lot of goals were scored. Bragg's CL path also helped (he was still 4/6 at 25).
With that said, I plan to work harder on experience for my younger players this year. The first step is to identify the youngsters that will eventually play and determine when to sell the ones that will never start.

Is the training drop as a result of playing a game really that noticeable? I haven't studied it too closely, but it never seemed like all that much to me.
And if it is, I wonder if that's why they put a cap on attribute values at 655. I had completely forgotten about that until a few days ago, but Phillip Woody is poised to hit that cap for his primary attribute within a couple days, at age 25. I feel like further training, once I get the primary attribute maxed out with the ratio I like, is much less important. And so I'm glad I've been starting him all along so that he has a bunch of experience too. If I hadn't ever played him, he'd get to this point what, half a season earlier? But he's a much better player now with experience. The cap sort of deincentivizes the strategy of never playing youngsters until their attributes get huge.

And yeah, I've been working to filter my younger players in a lot over the last couple of seasons. I changed lineups so much, I only had one player hit 30 GP this season, and none last season. It's kind of a bummer because it means the old guys never really have a shot at winning scoring titles, team of the season awards, etc., especially when the opportunities for big games against weaker teams generally go to the younger guys who play those games. But I'm hoping in the long run it's worth it. It also means I can spend more energy elsewhere, which is nice because I think I tend to invest more energy than most into the ChL, the NC, etc.
I would like that as well. They should definitely improve the Exp influence in the game engine
I'm online now with the first pick. I'm taking the one A I have found. but yeah, too many Bs. I don't even scout 5/6s at all because they won't make my team anyway, speaking long term.
Cap saw 1,7,17 & 39 as As. #4 as A+.
I saw 1,4,6 & 7.
Your pick is an A+ for me.

I also saw one undrafted player as an A. With that said, I don't have good scouts in soccer, and my HR department is only level 13 at the moment.
I saw one A. Chicago's first round pick... 5/6
What a waste of time this was!
