is this a known fact? this is the first time I have heard that training was affected by seasonal energy as opposed to only current energy
Pretty sure it's only current energy. If you look at your training history, there's nothing to suggest that seasonal energy has anything to do with it.
Low current energy -> more energy to regenerate -> less time to train.
Low seasonal energy -> worse performance in the match.
Low seasonal energy -> worse performance in the match.
keep in mind that if a=b & b=c then a=c
-fact: the lower a players current energy the less they'll train
-fact: since seasonal energy caps the amount of current energy, lower seasonal energy means lower max current energy.
-fact: a lower cap on current energy means a lower maximum potential to train.
conclusion: seasonal energy does affect training
am I mistaken on this somewhere?

thats what i was just thinking, and i agree with you.seasonol energy indirectly influences training progress as well. thru the season your training progress decreses slightly due to decreas of seasonal energy.
while that makes logical sense and may very well be true. I have never noticed a decline in training through the season. (and thats what we make conclusions on around here isn't it, personal observations ) That being said, the fact that i have consistently upgraded my training facilities may have masked that fact.
It would be really nice to have that confirmed.

I think you're mistaken with your first fact. IMO the difference between current energy and seasonal energy is what counts, not the value of current energy.
The trouble is, people who would make measurements of training effectiveness are going to the people who manage their season fitness the best. We need a high-addict with a stats brain
Ah! That's an interesting perspective on this. I never saw it considered that it was the difference between current and seasonal and not actual value of current. That puts my first point to theory and not fact.
I guess I'm back to the drawing board to try and prove this one!
@nsblues, I can't say that I've noticed the reduction of energy either. I too have had the upgrades so wasn't able to determine it as fact if it was happening.

i did observe slight decreas, but if you not sure , the best is to wait till the end of the season, when your energy goes ,from one day to another, to 100%.because during the season your seasonal energy decreases slowly , it is dificult to spot the difference. my training facility is built over a long time, thats why i can observe the changes, and i am sure my training has decreased slightly.
Prize money questions!
1) is player prize money for the regular season only, or does it carry on in to the playoffs
2) is regular season prize money paid before the playoffs, or is all prize money paid in one go?
I have allready mentally spent my prize money
