I know i don't have a top SA but ...I have yet to pull any top quality player since I started with hockey.
Is it absolutely crazy of me to suggest just training him up as a goalie? If you don't need him right away anyways, why not?
I feel like he'd be worth more on the market in 2-3 seasons as a goalie than as a center. Who needs another center anyways?
I've got 4 really decent centers and a couple of wings that probably should be playing center, but I'd kill to have Qs like that for one of my goalies.

Well... i mean qualities are completely random, so the level of your SA doesn't matter much anyways right?
It's not crazy at all. Keeping him with my facilities would be an absolute waste compared to what I could fetch on the market if I sell him, though. The money his sale can provide is worth more to me than keeping him would be. I'll probably post him Sunday and let him be out there for a week. Run an ad right before he goes out maybe and hope for a nice return. I plan on just training technique and passing for now and letting whoever purchases him decide if he'll be a center or goalie.
It would probably be best to sell him. Despite his qualities, his OR isn't quite elite, but he can still catch up and become elite with the right facilities.
For a team hovering between division III and division II, the Detroit Red Wings have had exceptional luck between pulling Scruggs, Reif, and Robertson.

It's ok to admit it. As far as the Under 18 team goes, you're glad I'm in the game. My SA is the gift that keeps on giving.
I suppose I probably should have sold Conrad Bray then huh... =/ He started out at over 300+ and his Qs are some of the best on my team.
I probably can't train him near as well as other would. oh well. =/

It could have helped the team and perhaps given you more money to work with (though not necessarily tens of millions if he has any flaws), but then you would also have lost a promising prospect that would still be useful to your team. My best player in soccer could have been one of the best defenders on the national team; instead he's been my most important defender for 10 seasons.
Yeah... I think that's the thing... I started hockey late, so I'm really trying to devolope the foundation of a really solid team 3-4 seasons from now.
I mean, his only real weakness (for his position) is shot which is at Q of 60. Off, Pas, Tec, Agr are all 90s. Goa and Def aren't great, but I don't need him to defend or stop pucks anyways lol.

Steve Milligan 's Qs for GOA, PAS, TEC turned out to be 95, 58, and 92 respectively. I would've liked to have the PAS a bit higher, but he'll still be hands down my best goalie in a season or two with Qs like that.
Yesterday his GOA stat trained at 1.07 which was on par with several guys that I had in training camp.

Dang, my SA has been good to me with goalies, giving me a nice one every couple of seasons, so I never have to buy one. Kelly Joseph is the latest, with Goa/Pas/Tec Q's of 85/89/93 for an 87.88 EQ.
a team with level 15 training and maxed out coaches would train his goal stat at about 1.80 per day. sell him to a big team and invest that money somewhere else.
