Assunto: Youth Pull

is it possible to build a top class team through your SA???? i'm the kind of manager that believe in raising legends rather then just buying them. as you can see almost all my player came from the SA with the exception of few. but youth pull is so random and not consistent, it seems to be all luck!

It's really hard. My teams in both soccer and hockey are mainly built from the SA. But I'm beginning to understand that to develop my teams further I will have to buy players in the future because the SA is not producing the same players it was about 4-5 seasons ago for me anymore.

My hockey team is 90% from my SA. I'd consider my team ranked around the 7-10th best team in the country. That being said, I don't think I can maintain my place if I just maintain with that ratio. My 17-21 group from my SA has much less talent (in numbers) than my 22-26 year olds.

The biggest problem with building solely from your SA is the inconsistency of positions for your youth pulls. This isn't quite as big a problem in hockey as soccer since there's fewer position types to fill, but even still, how are you going to build a good team if you just so happen to never get a decent goalie pull?

For example, my SA has turned out very few LD's worth keeping. If I didn't buy any off the market, I'd be stuck at the bottom of II.3 for many seasons to come.

Thanks for the inquiry. My SA seems to only give me really good offensive players. it has been more than 2 seasons since i pull an OK Goalie or Defensive players(Hockey). i didn't notice this until prior to this season i realize my team is stack with all offensive players and didn't have enough defenders to make 6 lines. so i had to sell some players and get some defenders off the market.
Overall i guess the SA can only give you certain amount of talented prospect and you'll have to get your needs from the market.
I just don't like to have a team full of foreigners. i mean i could have a few but just don't like to own a team full of foreigners.

This wasn't a youth player pull, but I got my first ever 0 star youth staff pull. He turned out to have a 10% AVQ (unscouted).

Sorry, I didn't, and now he's terminated. Must have been a case of nepotism in my HR department.

Pretty sure they didn't have the numbers and just pulled a random guy off the street to send over.

But he was supposed to be a physiotherapist...

He apparently suffered from depression after being terminated and now has a 4% AVG. I guess that I can still scout him (Acunman Yulmaz ). It turns out that I should have posted in the soccer forum.
