After the game with Switzerland, we will fly back to the USA and next Saturday we will fly to nearby Canada with the same team.
OK, Patty.....final time I tell you this......no one cares about this game. It has no participation, no camaraderie, no familiality, and no trash talk. All the ingredients for a fun enjoyable sports mockup. I don't know what goes on in the other countries but in this one boredom has replaced excitement and the new teams feel it quickly and drop out....the old teams just check in once in a while but interest has died

Bobby Jay Are you able to make a line-up of young players? With this team I will play all games before the World Cup.
Good. The developers are still taking care of this game, but the development of the game has been stopped because it has achieved everything that was planned. In some countries, managers are involved in the discussion, I do not know why it is dead here and I would also like more people to join here and consult this game.
In the Czech Republic, up to 200 new teams were added during the quarantined period, and I think that's a lot. If we want to revitalize this community, we must do something about it.
I know the big developers of this game and I know a lot about this game than you think, but again I can consult with managers from the USA. That is why I offer you help to everyone. For example, how to train players or what to build first in order to achieve success as soon as possible.
I also offered to help you, but I don't think you're interested.
I agree with this opinion and I would like some managers to participate in this discussion and I don't care about the National Team or I will write in my league as well.

For example, I have already written that shooting training for defenders is unnecessary and most managers disagree with me.
I know it doesn't make sense but the defender should train mainly defending and two other attributes. The shoot is useless.

the way to build participation in this or any online game is through the boards..comments, humor, trash talk, information and anything else that will make managers post is the engine that drives the train...I saw right away the problem here and maybe went about stirring up interest in the wrong way but I see hope in this game and would like to get people talking about it........maybe it's just too late, I don't know

It's not too late I was just upset me about your comments about the National Team. As you wrote, I don't write plans here and stuff. Okay, I'll write the plans here, but I can't write exactly what line-up I'll play in the World Cup. Other teams could know this and use it against me. Thats what pissed me off but everything alse is okay.
I'll write you in a private message how you should proceed in the game and teach you a little bit what and how it works.
I don't think you can find a better management game. Maybe one is on the same level as this one. But I prefer this one.
I guess you want to joke so I won't stop you from that but I don't want you to blame me for doing something wrong because I don't think I'm doing something wrong, I'm sure to find something but believe me I'm doing everything to make the USA team successful in the future. That's why I'm asking you all to start building and not inventing nonsense. If you build a stadium and facilities, it is great for your homeland and you will be up in the future.
I know my English is not a great miracle but believe me I want to help you all.

If you work together, I believe that one day you will be a better manager than most of us because you are at least involved in the discussion and that is also the basis.
I regularly read the national team forums of my opponents (using google translate when necessary) before and during the World Championships to try to get information about their strategies. I have at times found useful information. While I try to be transparent about what I'm doing with the U18 team and how the team is doing in the tournament, I write my posts with the assumption that other NT managers are reading them (and I often see that they are when I read their forums). At times I even write some misinformation to try to influence any managers that are reading my posts. At one point I even had a second assistant who was assigned exclusively to scouting other NT forums.
With that in mind, there are some things that can't be said in the forum, or at the very least, they can't be said too often/unless they are buried deep. Of course, it's always welcome to contact the NT managers privately to discuss strategy, propose new ideas, or just to inquire about the considerations involved in running the NT.
With regards to playing the players together, the primary concern of a senior NT manager is to manage chemistry, energy, training bonuses, and experience gains during exhibition games once a team has been selected.
With regards to training U.S. players, it is necessary to have at least level 14 training, regeneration, and sports academies to develop players capable of being effective for the senior NT (a level 15 sports academy that sells players to better teams can suffice). Without facilities of that level, players won't ever be useful to the senior NT or even competitively in I.1 in the United States. Teams with level 11-13 facilities can possibly produce players for the U18 and U20 teams. Their very best players if trained well and given experience can be useful if there is a lack of depth. To get facilities of the elite level, you need to maximize your income. If you are not careful, it is possible to fall into a trap where you have mediocre facilities while lacking the funds to improve and the infrastructure to obtains those funds. Foreign players (and staff for teams without good facilities) generally have more expensive contracts, so they aren't advised for newer teams unless that team can build a team capable of competing for the playoffs in I.1 (in that case, the good sponsors compensate the extra costs sufficiently).
The lack of interest in the United States in this game relative to Europe has always been a problem. At one point the United States had 8 tier IV leagues, but it's always been significantly behind countries like the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Theoretically this game could be popular among the sorts of people that enjoy fantasy sports, but that never really resulted in U.S. interest due to some combination of a lack of advertising and the excessively long amount of time (real life years) it takes to build a top team if you didn't happen to start at the beginning and make good choices. At this point, PPM is no longer being developed and is just being kept alive for the fans of the game that continue to play. If it becomes sufficiently unprofitable at some point, I imagine it could fold. Of course, it's not impossible that PPM could experience a Rennaisance of interest in the future and go in a more positive direction.
As for participation, the U.S. base has been slowly shrinking over time. A lot of the successful and active teams have dropped out. There are only around 7-10 teams capable of producing NT caliber talent at the moment, and it's not impossible that we could start losing tier II leagues at some point (which has happened in handball). New players are intimidated by the work required to become relevant. The good teams that do eventually become I.1 playoff teams tend to get frustrated when they can't compete with the very top teams after spending years building a team (even the top U.S. teams are no match for the top international teams) and often end up losing interest. The remaining veterans who have done this over 30 times who have been active in the forums have largely already said what they have to say about the game already and largely have the same experience every season.
Humor is welcome, but not if it's used to go after other managers and written off as humor (I have a bad tendency myself to try to be funny only to find that I wasn't effective and/or I wrote something I regret). I think there are plenty of better subjects such as the state of the game, luck with sports academy pulls and sponsors, the RNG, roleplaying, etc. The former top manager in handball accidentally went inactive and lost all his NT caliber players (they get sold off when the manager goes inactive). When he came back, he wrote a press release pretending that the GM went rogue, sold off half the team, and ran off with half the money. Another manager had some of his high level facilities demolished because his cat was dancing on his keyboard.
While I have considered in the past eventually moving on to the senior team once it is comprised completely of players I have scouted/used for the U18, I enjoy scouting/drafting a team every season for the U18 NT and discovering the future stars. I'm willing to be an assistant for a season or so (beyond the scouting that I generally do for the senior team) and take on whatever level of responsibility will be necessary. I don't want to take on the senior team long term though.
