I think you have noticed the latest addition to the match report. Many of you have been asking us to publish the tactics used by both teams in the match report. Now, finally, you will be able to analyze the tactics used by your team and your opponent. You can also check back the tactics used in previous matches (all the way back to November 25) and analyze which tactics are good for your team or which tactics are effective against certain opponents.

For now, we are only showing style of play, intensity and style of play in defense. Such tactical choices as offside trap usage, tendency of attacks and aggressiveness can be guessed from other information shown in the match report. There are some people who prefer keeping the choice of tactics a secret and others who would like to have them handed on a plate. This is a compromise between showing everything and showing nothing. Let us see how this works and later on we can evaluate whether there is need for more info or not.

Last time we announced the implementation of conditional substitutions. Based on the suggestions from some users, we have been able to make one small, but useful adjustment. The option to make a substitution in case of a red card for your team has been added to the same pull-down menu as minutes. This means that the substitution will take place shortly after a red card for your player regardless of when the red card is awarded (except of course in the dying minutes of the game, when there is no time left for substitution). Another advantage of this is that you can now combine this option with the options "Goal difference X or more" and "Goal difference X or less".

On November 19, we have changed the calculation of quality estimates in order to remove a bug that has been reported (users with very good scouting efficiency were able to see precise qualities of players who were not scouted). You may have noticed this change. However, the maximum deviation from the correct qualities has been changed along with that. As of tomorrow, we will change the maximum deviation back to the same level as it was before November 19, but this time without the mentioned bug.

As has been stated several weeks ago, we have terminated our collaboration with one of our SMS payment providers. SMS payments are now only available in Slovakia, Czech Republic and Poland as of November 30.

Last but not least, we would like to inform you that our long time programmer, developer and graphic designer, DebiK, has parted ways with PowerPlay Manager. His last contribution were the afore-mentioned substitutions and match report additions. We would like to thank him this way for all the work he has done for this project and wish him success in both professional and personal life. He has been a part of our team almost since the beginning and it is a great loss for sure.
