Yes, it was, I got upset the first time, couldn't let that happen again at home
With today's victory my team clinched their season goal of avoiding regulation, which i consider a successful first year in the league. i came quite close to managing my team into the ground and began blowing games i should have won due to my low energy levels. all in all though i learned some lessons and should move up the table next season.
Wow, what a season. I was hoping to seal it off today with a win at home, but looks like the show will go on
And OG steps up with an upset at home and their lock of 3rd place is a win away.
I've just had soo many upsets this season. It's laughable. But todays was the most worthy one (I've been upset by teams fighting in the bottom of the table that hadone SOG vs my 10 and lost 1-0... After that, this is kind of an upgrade).
It bothers me though, to have lost to such a short-term team (all your players are 26+....). Anyways, congratulations... On f'ing up my locked down my promotion, we are now sworn enemies!

One last thing (this is not complaining, it's just an observation), every important game I have, the opposing team's GK just so happens to make the Team of the Day... I.e. last week in the Manical Minions - La Banda Roja matchday, his GK was in the TotW. Now, yours is. Earlier in the season, in the first round La Banda Roja - Ssanyong United gameweek, his GK made the TotW... I mean.. Wow

Those 26+ players are my core for a few seasons. I will continue with the slowly moving players out and bringing in key players to take over. It's a way to compete with teams that have more history. Eventually I will get to team that has in-house developed players.
Ditto here. You can find some good veterans with high experience that are not so expensive. It will take another couple seasons for the facilities to start developing players.
Personally, I disagree with the TotW GK nominations, because they only check the number of saves and maybe for goals/saves ratio. So when you're playing a crap team, a top GK gets no lauds. Conversely, all of the crap teams that have a reasonably "OK" GK get TotW lauds because they probably have a lot of saves and such.
Of course, when you're playing with pure statistics, there's really no other way to pick a top GK for each week...

Surprised that you played normal today.
I didn't expect Manical to lose any points to San Diego, or Pballas to play on high. I had no hopes of finishing first. I guess I messed up. I really dont give a f. though, I might get promoted through the relegation round vs Magic Kicks, but even if I don't it's not a big deal. I won't be able to stay in I.1, and the money for being a low team in I.1 is not that much better than being top of the second division. Plus, I'd like to try out the sponsors for winning games of for having a high position in the league
