Looking at the current market I underestimated what you are paying those 200 overalls, its more like a minimum of 150k/day. That equates to $235m a year at minimum. On the market good coaches and sporting directors seem to sell and might be worth owning, but none of the others do, managers only matter for marketing, a 200 overall manager is the biggest waste of money in the game.

I only have very good staff for:
2x coaches (definitely worth it if you have a high-level TF)
1x Physio, and
1x Sporting Director (high youth training)
Everything else is not worth the money

I know *why* I'm going bad with finances, and I tried to unload some of them earlier in the season (most of them were trained, if you believe it...). I can't afford to cancel their contracts, so I'm just going with the "don't renew" option...
It's all for some friendly competition, plus, imagine a league where you're the only good team... That would be no fun

if I don't sell the staff, I still pay the fee for listing them (admittedly a small fee anyway).
I did similar to what you are going through now. You don't want to buy them out and go bankrupt that way, but if one is within 10 or 20 days or so and you can afford that buyout, you will save money. Also, if you balance the training of your staff so that neither score rises much higher than the others, then you will keep their salaries lower on renewal.
