Yeah. That's apparently how it works. The CONCACAF 3rd place game had a similar result. Brutal way to end a season. Especially one where fizban dominated for most of it.

I'm kind of excited for the upcoming season. I had a couple of nice pulls, but I didn't work them into my lineup at all (maybe a mistake) during the season. I stuck with my opening day roster the whole season and I'll be incorporating my pulls into this season's starting roster. I'm also hopeful that we'll get some decent coin on sponsorship offers, but I've been on the losing end of that crapshoot for the last 4 seasons in hockey.

You played the whole season with the same players? Wow. Only 13 players played more than 15 games for you. I had 17 players with 15+ games played, and another two who played the last 7 & 9 games. Maybe that's why I was able to catch you in the end?

Yeah that very well could be. I was really hoping that experience and chemistry would trump having the best possible lineup, but obviously I was wrong about that. Good luck in I.1 !

fizban... in most soccer tournaments (real life), one of the main tie breakers is away goals. Meaning if the aggregate score after both games is tied, as in your case 0+1=1 and 0+1=1, the team that scored the away goal advances....
