My game was closer than I would have liked. I did manage to sell out the arena (14,400) to put some change in me and my opponent's pockets however. I'm the 24th highest seed remaining, so I'll have another home game next round. I'd need some help (and a victory for myself obviously) to get another home game after that.
Our 9 teams still involved ranks third behind I.1 (13) and II.1 (10). With 4 teams in the top 32 seeds and 5 in the bottom 32 seeds, I hope we can continue the success as a league.

Does anyone know how I can see how many times that I have played with Low, Normal, or High intensity?
You have to be a Pro-Pack member to see that kind of info. Otherwise, you'd have to manually total it.
I went normal and had to win in OT sadly enough. But my opponent played on low and lost, so who was smarter? Yep.
And then there were 5: CTDs, Huggy Bears, Safado FC, Boilermakers and Spankers advance to the next round of the NC.
Congrats to those of us that advanced today in the National Cup. The one team that lost dominated most of the game, but couldn't put the ball in the net. We now have 4 of the remaining 16 teams, second only to I.1's 7 teams.
The Boilermakers were able to come away with a victory in our biggest test this season in the NC. We're one of 3 teams remaining with a 20 OTS, but there are also 7 teams at 19 OTS. Odds are we'll be facing a team with an OTS of at least 19 in the next round, as we'll be in the bottom half of the draw.
In the league, the Crash Test Dummies look like they're going to run away with the title. However, 2nd place is wide open. 7 teams are within 5 points of 2nd with 13 games to go. Gregory Tyson of the Huggy Bears has all but wrapped up the scoring title, with 26 goals so far. In second place is Max Mark of the Boilermakers with 19 goals.

Lost in a penalty shootout, sad. I don't think I will run away with the title. Too many games left and my guys are getting tired. Being out of the NC might actually benefit me because the next rounds may require playing on high.
Should be an interesting end of the season for 2nd place. 1 pt lead by Safado over the Huggy Bears with each team having 3 games versus managed teams remaining. Looks like Safado has burnt alot of player energy through the season, so I'm hoping that works in my favor down the home stretch.
First place looks all but wrapped up. So, I'll send my jinx congrats to DarkAddition on promotion to the big leagues.

Bowed out early in the NC, but this season has gone very well for me. Not much differentiation in the leagues at this point so moving up is really only a matter of pride, but I'll take it if I can manage to hang on for the rest of the season!
I think my training schedules are really making a difference. I took a very unique approach this season and it seems to have paid off.
I applied the same training program to hockey and despite my current placing (I'm one of the weakest teams in the division) it seems to be viable there as well. It will take a lot longer because its going to take a lot of training to get my current players trained to plan. Currently less than 20% of my players are trained to plan.

Safado dropping a game to a NoN certainly helps my hopes for playing for promotion. I'm staring at a lose this Tuesday tho

Wouldn't write Tuesday's game in the books yet. Your Team strength is much better than mine. Its more a matter of whether or not my goalie can stop Tyson.
I honestly thought I'd take a lose there. I had dropped our first game and I had 2 defenders and 1 forward suspended for the game, hence the 2-5-3 formation. Keeps my hopes alive for second and a play-in game for promotion.
I have to stop pulling goalies from my YS (both players in the last pull were goalies)....
