By the way, I took your advice to give up on league play. Colt Diaz and Junior Lemieux are up front and Kenneth Shipp is in goal. I had to use a few 'starters', but everyone else is from the bottom of the depth chart. I'm down 0-3 60 minutes into the game

I don't think Bragg liked what you were insinuating about him and he decided to take it out on The Big Cigars today.

I didn't say give up on the league, I said to concentrate on the CWC. You could've went with all backups and played on very high.

I'd like to give a shout out to the FC Corsairs for their win today as well. That's a pretty gut-wrenching way to lose a match though.

Did you notice what my CWC opponent did? He was a 43 rating or something like that for the longest time. Now he's up to a 54. Dude's been sandbagging. Hopefully I have the energy left to get past him. I'm sure his team's pretty fresh being in such a crap league.

Lemieux is already a 13, but Diaz is only an 8. The big surprise is Shipp is already a 10. He's going to be pretty good

It looks like his highest OTS in league play this season is a 56. He also has 2 of his top 4 OR players suspended for the first match. I think you'll be able to take him down.

1-1 Draw in the CWC. They tied it up in the 83rd minute It was on the road, so it's not too bad. The W would have been nice though.

I think I'll be using the second team during league play to conserve energy. I'm sure the High Headerz and Baldwin Bombers are breathing a sigh of relief that they don't have to face my best players

Seriously. What's wrong with your team? It's stupid that you're at the bottom of the standings. What happened to Duncan? 22 goals last season and only 4 this? Are you playing some new guys or something?

a bit of it all yes...combine it with a bit of a weak Goalie and I just can't catch a break. It looks like I'll need to buy a new Goalie if I want to play up here again. But for now, I'll readjust to real life, other hobbies, and hopefully fit this more firmly in my life over the summer.

...on further analysis, my keeper isn't the problem, I have a good defensive record, but my scoring rate is pitiful. I can say that I fell of the wagon for training my players, and even if they were trained well, I'd still need to get better forwards...

I have a similar team except your offense is much worse Defense has been great for me, but the offense is woefully inconsistent. Not there most of the time. I wonder how many times I've been shut out. I know I've scored more than 2 goals only 5 times.

1 four goal
3 five goal games.

A third of my goals were scored in three games. Almost half in five games. That's just not going to work.

Yeah! The same team knocked me out in the first round of the playoffs. I thought I had a nice draw for the round of 16, and I even tied the first game on the road, but then he came to my building and stole one 2-0. I can't complain too much, because obviously it's been working for him, but it's frustrating because I don't feel I can do the same and stay in I.1 here, and yet he's 35-2-2 with a 587.32 OTR.

Really the whole season has been a battle for energy for me, and it's definitely showing in my recent league games. I'm hoping my backups are getting to a place where they can do more to spell my starters next season without having too much of a negative effect on my record.
