easy money for a guy who won't play many games
Yep, I have him in my scouting queue. His problem is called called Pat Salmon though
CD: need 6 players.
1. Elton Lai (L)
2. Lucas Grebe (U)
3. Harvey Patry (R)
4. Tyson Borden (U)
5. Tommy McRorie (L)
6. Ethan Arsenault (R) Ethan Arsenault
Ethan Arsenault is already better than Chagnon, and the gap will increase in the next 2 seasons. Time for retirement for Chagnon.
I think #1 to #5 are pretty obvious, especially #1 and #2. Ethan Arsenault as #6 won't see a lot of action, if at all ; but if you have a better alternative let me know.

The U20 squad doesn't look good at all. Thankfully there are already 2 players aged 21 in the group. Behind that, I'm really unsure that Kyle Coleman or Frank Vincent are ready for some action, or will ever be. Though we might have to deal with them at some point! Johnny Noves is in a lvl 8-11 facilities, so let's forget him. He's from my SA, I think I pulled him at CL5, so he's about to drop to CL3 really soon.
After that, Nathan Beauchemin is 17, and has high OR despite average Q's. He might be a choice in 3-4 seasons. Isaac Gallagher (16) looks really good as well.
Then we have Lai + Patry (23) ; Grebe + Mcrorie (21). Question is then are Coleman and Vincent future prospects, or should we just forget them and wait for Gallagher and Beauchemin...

CM: 6 players
1. Duncan Mackenzie (L)
2. Irving Vernon (R)
3. Jerod Tery (U)
4. Brant Malcolm (U)
Both high XP and Universal
5. Dillon Caroll (L) has to be there I guess.
Isaias Mount might be selected. However, he wouldn't play. He's the best of his age, but not great.
Problem is Nolan Quirk should be selected next season. Question is instead of who, if I select Mount? Jerod Tery will go in 2 seasons, but we'll need him during World Cup. Caroll, I think he's needed just in case.
Merola should be out. He's actually not any better than Ezra Walford , which he's not awesome either.
So question is do we go with Mount and fire him or Caroll next season for Quirk?
Or do we select a guy just in case like Merola, Walford or Stu Morin (which at least plays right, which is more needed). In that case, which one?
End of the day, there's not much depth here. Behing Quirk, I see Roger Bellemare , and that's about it... Ethen Champagne is done, playing in a team with low lvl facilities and CL4 at 17y.
Drew Cleaver and Carson Woo are good, but not sure it will be enough to catch up other guys.

How does it work with friendlies for next season? Will TMO schedule them? Want to make sure we are booked for the whole season...
He can schedule up to week X then it is up to you.
I have challenges sent out for every date. You'll have a full schedule when you get the team.
SM:
1. Gordon Gable (L)
2. Ivan Gow (U)
OK, he's young, but he has good XP already, and he's so good. And still CL5 at 21.
3. Reynaldo Koyle (L). Another left, I don't like it but he has good XP we'll need him.
4. and 5. Dewayne Martin (R) Johathan Gwinnett (U) or Vicente Dawdy (L). 3 guys, 2 spots. 1 must leave. I'd keep Gwinett, he's the youngest and is (U), which is useful. Martin has more XP, but is the oldest.
At the end Dawdy is good, but is left, and we already have 2, he would be the one I'd cut. I don't like keeping Koyle since he's older, but still better.
Any thoughts?

FYI - Dawdy trains really well. He'll pass Koyle this season easily. Even with the EXP difference. Not to mention the added shot and "other" bonuses
.
Like all my players, his IGR may not show as high but there are other factors that improve performance that aren't shown in IGR... I know of 2 people (myself included) who train these to a useful balance.

You make good points.Worse is SMs in U20 and U17 are not very good. We might need vets for a while, but Koyle is done for sure in 2 seasons. Worst I would see would be to fire Dawdy just to have him back then due to lack of prospects. More thoughts are needed here...
