Might I emphasize the incredible importance of selecting U players in the center rather than Ls or Rs.
I love U players as well, even on the side for the extra flexibility they provide
Goalkeeper: no change for now.
1. Yves Todd: he's still so ahead of everybody else. He'll be 28 by World Cup, which might be his last major int'l competition.
2. Pat Salmon: he'll be #1 for many seasons to come. He will probably be #2 in next world cup though due to lack of XP compared to Todd
3. Honore Hines: #3, just in case. Won't see a lot of action except if there are injuries, only try to keep decent chem just in case.
Some will ask why aging Hines instead of fresh new blood Cristian Mueller? Well, that's open for discussion. However, Mueller has very little chance to ever be #1 because of Salmon who has better career path, and a home with better facilities, which balance for lower Q's.
And after Mueller, I see Darrick Connely, 2 seasons younger and only 150OR behind. I expect next season that Connely will be #1 in U20 since he's equal to Lefebvre but 1y younger, will only be 19 next season. He'll get chem and XP, ready in 2 seasons to graduate to Senior NT as #2 to Salmon. They have a 3 seasons difference, which is good planning for long term future. Mueller only have 1 season less than Salmon, which is not enough a difference to make him last longer (especially with bad CL path). In 2 seasons (I mean start of season 15), I see Salmon #1, #2 Todd for his XP, and #3 Connely.
That's why I don't plan to select Mueller. But that's very open to discussion and feedback is welcome.

SD: interesting position, very tough choice. We have a decent group aged 23-24. I'd be glad to have some help on this one.
My picks:
Right
1. Marcel Gagne. obvious choice
2. Monington
Left
It's either Clay Roberge, Wade Bourgeois, Logan Breton or McDermott.
I'd go with McDermott and Roberge #1 and #2 (not sure of the order), Breton being #5 just in case. I'd like Bourgeois, but it's him or McDermott, since Roberge as Universal and high XP is required.
However, that's more complicated, since Roberge and Breton are Universal, they might be #2 on the right instead of Monington, though I think he's fine #2.
SD is interesting for the long term since we have 3 awesome prospect coming. Pete Brooks and Terrence Jean (Left) and Maximo Bridges (R) are coming in 1 and 2 seasons. Not sure if Brooks should be selected as soon as season 14 though, world cup coming and wouldn't beat the 5 guys in place. Number 15 though, all 3 might be in, along with veterans Gagné and another one from current squad.

Don't think so, though we might see what wisdom of the crowd thinks...
Rod MacNeil would be another good #3. Consistently outperforms Hines in I.1 despite playing on a weaker team.
Can you send me a screenshot, I don't have him scouted
The reason why he outperforms Hines might be due to your legendary luck. Remove the games against Brutal Deluxe where he has no goal in like 100 shots, and I'd be curious to see the real stats

That 1013min CS streak may suggest you're not the only team he can blank (for the record, you saw my backup in our LC game).
Here are his numbers:
Goa - 452 (83)
Pas - 136 (85)
Tec - 294 (59)
Spe - 317 (92)
Hea - 158 (74)
Exp - 116

I don't think that's enough to pass Hines, but that's good to see we have even more depth at this position.
This was a decision based on a personal vendetta! BLASPHEMY!
Don't worry, it has nothing to do with that. I want NT to win, that's it. Numbers always talk in the decisions I'd make as NT managers. (I'm web analyst in real life, e.g. a kind of number guy...)
