Would be really great if you can compare to other teams, in a similar way as ou can trend and compare league rankings...

i'd like something like that... could be a simply show of team strenghts in match reports

In tactics it will be nice to have how to play defence:zone/man on man

I think the option to see a match away from is must be open to everyone, not only to the PRO users. PPM is the only game I see this. why do I need to pay money for watching my games? ok I understand PPM wants to earn money, and I think it's good to create some options only for PRO users, but why watching your games is one of it?

I know about some users that left the game only because this reason.

I really don't understand why I need to pay money to see my games. it's basic option.

Oh no. Not again what sort of crap is this anyway? Earlier this week I played against a 1-6-3. (yep, the guy had only 1 central defender and no backs.) I really thought that this was a no brainer that would changed in the new match engine, but apparently not.

Honestly, a 1-6-3 or 5 wingers on 1 side may make a great algorithmic puzzle, but we are supposed to be playing football here.

Most serious match engines in soccer at very least place restrictions on the amount of players in a given area. (3-5 defenders, 3-6 midfielders, (1-3 forwards)

I really thought this major error would have been taken care of as so many lineups have to do with soccer at all.

Developers have don some very good work, but this has to be fixed to truly make this game football.

I thought the new engine would start with the new season, which has not started yet ....

If you have read the latest article on the new match engines you will see that zone restrictions for players have not been implemented.

This is a shame, as I have said before other then this, I thought the match engine was pretty good. The fact is though running up against formations with 1 central defender or 5 wingers on one side is not football.

The changes I mentioned above would go a long way to correct this problem. Even better would be to add no more than 3 wingers on each side and no more than 4 interior infielders.

If these changes were implemented the game would really simulate real football.

I have read the latest article and I thought you were talking about the new engine as if it were already implemented, but you were just complaining about something you haven't even seen yet....

Dalek, the whole theme of the article was the major changes. The article is very specific on what tactical changes were being implemented. Absolutely nothing was mentioned on tactical zone restrictions. It would not make sense to not mention what would be by far the largest tactical improvement they could make.

Finally, this is not a complaint but a sincere wish that the game really looks like football, instead of some crazy algorithmic puzzle. Zone restrictions are done all the major football management games. It really needs to be done here.

I can confirm that we have also made changes to this part of the engine. I will report this in the next news.

I can't wait next season! Looking forward who will get penalized and who will get boost from these changes...
