I agree but because I like training players! I think the difference with bball and hockey is that in bball in real life you tend to play best 5 more than half the game with up to 5 more with less. So I would use 10 and not 12 as the guide but I accept you can dress 12.

Another way of looking at it is a roster of two teams = 24 players

The team calendar should show the layout of the playoffs in advance and populate the team you play once the previous round has finished.

With all due respect, are any of the PPM staff readingthis thread? Only its a bit pointless if not, and I'm not seeing any kind of responses.
I'm genuinely not meaning to be difficult, I just think if you're going to have a 'Suggestions' thread there has to be some sort of dialogue or acknowledgement.

It is read without a doubt. It can be frustrating not to have direct answers to the suggestions posted here, but all of them are read and taken into account when developing new features or just adjusting the game engine.
Lot of community suggested features have been added to PPM during the years.

On the top of my head I could tell you about the money left between brackets when you have a bid on a player, the different names for the assistants when you have multiple employees. That's some of the latest ones.

Some more suggestions - apologies if mentioned already!

- a 24 second shot clock and team in possession graphic (perhaps the faces could glow or something?)

- jump ball situations - are there any?

- Fouls by the team in possession should be explained differently to a foul by the team defending. For example charging fouls are particularly important to note. So at the moment there are times when i (think ) my team is in possession and one of my players commits a foul. This is worth different text because usually fouls are committed by the team who is not in possession.

- loose ball situations? The odd foul for one of the players and some jump ball calls would be nice?

- end game situations: particularly in close games where the trailing team needs a 3 pointer - they shouldn't shoot from under the basket! Also perhaps a tactical option that says "save a time out for the end of the game if the score is between x and y at the end of the 3rd quarter" or something like that. Unused timeouts are really important at the end of close games.

sub tactical options:
- is there any way to have a rule for the 11th and 12th players dressed? I think its a shame to not to have the control to give them a few minutes as well. (otherwise the tactical options are awesome!)

some wackier suggestions / raw ideas:

- what about some half time entertainment? Like a 3 point competition with a few fans from the crowd? I can see the graphic showing that little ball soaring its way towards the hoop...

- Play of the week

- one all star game each season? one conference vs the other

- slam dunk competition

Also it would be nice to have the option to set one more line-up free. There is some days that i play 3 matches and its really imposible to change the set up and tactics.

Or the option to pay a few credits for one more set up.

Sorting draft options by height would allow for quicker scouting selections...

when you click on your available current money it takes you to the finances page. the finances page could show a reconciliation between your actual cash balance and committed cash balance so it is easy to see why it is. It would be a matter of listing the outstanding bids and anything else that is relevant

Come on guys at least make the game interesting. Team down 3 points with 10 seconds to go and my player takes a 2 pointer.

In the game summary by quarter make the points scored by free throws look different. Like a different colour. At the moment I cant tell if my Centre made a crazy 3 pointer or an awesome 3 point play from a monster dunk

Agree... and, if possible, make as well some text about the distance from where each basket is scored -as in football/soccer-: it's quite boring to see each replay short film to get somehow to figure it out
