The coach can also change tactics during a quarter and a time out. We can not. If you have it set up to shoot 3 pointers if you're trailing and you're down by 1 with 12 seconds left and you have the ball, do you think ANY player in his right mind would think, "Well, coach said hit the 3s, so I have to shoot a 3?"

I agree with that. We should be allowed to change tactics during timeouts. That's the point of a timeout.

My point wasn't so much that we should be able to change tactics during a timeout, because that would be way too much micro-management in a sim game. More, the engine should be built to make smart decisions. Each team and each player should be trying to win. If all you need is to score 2 points to win, take the highest % shot, not a 3.

one thing id like to have is teams using unused timeouts in the last couple of minutes (or last minute) to stop clock and advance the ball if they are within reach to win the game

When player scouting is complete, why does the header on the team news page show a soccer jersey?

I did nothing to my lineups and today my Center played 40 minutes. Naturally the penalty worked on me and I lost a close one. Anyways, when I looked in substitutions I had no backup listed. He played yesterday and I was gone all day today so I know I didn't change it. What happened?

Pretty sure something isn't right. Yesterday played a team me normal, he norm and low. I lost 65 - 60. Today played same team me very high he low. Lost 65 - 60. I've dialed up a few times and see no difference in performance. Also yesterday I was penalized because my center wasn't subbed for. Just seems hinky to me.

Because of an injury, I had the same player as the first substitute for both PF and C. I set him to sub 2 minutes each quarter for each player. However, because subs only enter the game at specific times, he subbed 8 minutes for the PF and none at all for the C.

cant set sub for the same quarter although it is one thing i have asked since beta days.

Did they take the not subbing penalty out? Team in my league has won 4 in a row since he quit subbing.

At about 4:10 left in the 3rd quarter, a player from my team disappears and it becomes 4 on 5.

It looks like the winner of my playoff series will play the winner of a playoff series from the other conference - I thought that the winner of each conference was supposed to make the finals. I suppose it is possible that it will work as it is supposed to and only the playoff screen is faulty, but it might be worth looking into.

That's what the guide says, I suspect the playoff screen will adjust after the first round to reflect that.

Same steals/game, same number of steals.
The two of them tied for 5th in the league.

Two hours ago my player was listed 5th.
Now the system, switched the other player to be 5th.
They are both tied for 5th place and both teams should receive player stat prize money or perhaps share in it.

As of right now I haven't received prize money for him.
