I had been experimenting with using separate players for defense and offense but stopped right before my game against you. As I should have expected, the experiment was a failure. My team strength didn't even change as a result of reverting to a normal strategy. In any case, my team had effectively been playing with a handicap and was underperforming a little until that match.

I will get SA10 on the same day.

i suspected this strategy would be hard to work. it can still work if you make some adjustments from your original plan

All i can say for you guys getting level 10 is .... get a 350+ or else get a 180-

My level 10 will take a while 36 days!

I already pulled level 10 this saturday and got for the first time TWO players, but both crap.

I think it could work if I use the defense specialists as substitutes in particular circumstances (this would require for my team to be able to consistently build a lead though) instead of using different players on defense in general, though it actually hasn't hurt too much to use only one or two different players on defense (it will only be one if I finally get the wing that I have been looking for).

My defense actually seemed to have improved compared to last season, and the fast breaks weren't catastrophic against me. The problem is that my team just didn't seem to be getting enough shots on goal and only won by a few goals when it did win.

After waiting an extra 3 days until my level 10 sports academy is finished to make my pull for this week, the first player I pull is a 152 OR player with 5/6 OR, a maximum potential of one star, and only one attribute above 21. This player wouldn't have had value in even the third week of handball.

174 or. .5stars across the board.

I decided last year that since I was not pulling any star players that I needed to invest in all my players being able to shoot. I currently have a 25 shot. Now I need to bring up that 20 on defense. Hopefully that will be at 25+ by the end of the season.

Next matches against #2, #3, #4 and #6. And finishing 1st quarter of the season against #8.

Luck win against Orlando. My 1st half strategy didnt work very well.Played with Pivot second half and lost him on red card. thankfully the replacement had the job done.

Ahh I played the same system in the second half. Need to adjust the threshold for changing the defense. On a good note. 21 Defense now. Come on 22.

I need to shoot more as a team. Very low on the shots today.

I've gotten 2 player pulls like 4-5 times now. EVERY time, the guys have crappy Qs (think 1 to 1.5 stars across the board). Not only that, but I'm lucky if i get 200+ OR on those pulls.

At this point, I seem to have much better luck with single player pulls... but it's been months since I've had anything worth writing about. =/

Fast breaks absolutely murders teams that make substitutions. It's to the point where you can't really ever "set your lineup with subs" because even a bad team that notices that can take you down with fast breaks.

It's actually kind of broken in my opinion... because it makes it so that you can't reasonably use substitutions (because you never know when someone will run fast breaks on you, and you'll get stuck with offensive specialists out on the court).

Shot seems to be one of those really fickle things in my experience. It can help a team win games they had absolutely no right winning, and then other games, it's completely ineffective.

I don't know if you've had similar experience since training it up, but that's what I've been seeing in my studies.
