It's not "random" at all. Random implies that there is nothing anybody can to do affect the odds.

The PPM system works on chance. We can improve the CHANCE of something happening by upgrading facilities or hiring staff etc. Better staff and more upgrades mean there is more chance of good pulls or good offers. Obviously there is room for move in the equations, as you would get in real life also (ie. negotiations).

But to be fussy, no, it's not about random at all. That's the wrong phrase to use.

Further, the Stars are a guide only, and don't "guarantee" they are going to be better or worse than last years same star ratings.

As I know - there is absolutely NO way you can improve your chances of getting 5* offer, or 1* offer. It is "randomly" generated, and it can go up and down a lot, depends on how big someones OTR or facility is, or which place he did finished in playoffs.

On example: Someone has all parameters worth for offer of 100 millions... With bigger facility and better staff, value of contract is: 120M... BUT - if hehappen to have luck - he can get 5* offer worth 135M-140, OR he can have bad luck - and get 1* - worth 100-105M.

I believe things work like that.. Of course- on more complex way, but this is the easiest way to explain it on simple way

anyway, this is talk I wanted to start, not whining and bitching thing

If you can put here all of the parameters together for season 4th and 5th and for 7th and 8th maybe I could draw some better conclusion, because I'm pretty sure that I found a formula to calculate the sponsorship offer based on a previous one.

Also, I don't know your offer for this season, but you can give me you last season offer and I'm pretty sure that I will give you the calculation for this season and can't be wrong more than 10-15millions (that's because of the stars, low and high star offer)

I have 499M sponsorship offer and 286M for TV rights. I suppose that there are teams that have more than me, at least for TV rights ...

Stars are of course a random thing, but other parts of the sponsorship offer are not.

you can affect "real" offer, but "real" offer can go up and down, depending on stars...

Well it makes no sense that we lost our support team. It definitely doesn't look good from a Canadian point of view.

There is nothing smart to say. All I can say is, been there and it sucks...

Problem is you cant effect those stars, even for 1%. and as izzax said - they bring +/- 20-25% and they make big difference.
