you are right about offers coming down.
I would say the absolute worst days to have your auction end is friday and saturday night. I say this only because i've picked up some steals for 10,000 on those nights.

Mine expires on Feb 5 (which is friday and also pay day) does that mean that it is good through friday and as long as i re-up before the end of the 5th I won't lose my info?

Hmmm very good question.
I think the only things you lose are your tactic setups, that I recall. All my player #'s came back after re-upping, but I had to redo my tactics (and possibly my lines, don't recall)
most of my players lost quality points over night. i know the quality is just estimated without scouting, but why do i lose now so much quality points? e.g.: 88 AvQ > 49 AvQ
because your scouts now see the player differently.. like you said its only an estimate
use the tag "hockey_player"

What are the numbers after team names in the standings for Champions League and Cup Winners Cup all about. They are double figures in a combination of 0 and 1.
