Asunto: Suggestions

Ok, I think I've been realistic enough. 32 teams isn't such big number for one tournament, it's rather medium/small. If I made really small one, nobody would come because reward is too low.
I saw another tournament with almost same conditions as mine, it was supposed to start the same time, and we both collected around 22 people and our tournaments were shut down.
I understand what would happen if you don't charge those attempts, but that fee is just too big. Why couldn't you take 20% of it ?
Many people are unaware that PPM is keeping that 50 credits if tournament isn't filled in completely. Otherwise they wouldn't make them, and you would have only pre arranged ones with no room for other people.
You could also fill tournaments with no names, if some desirable quota is gained (like 1/2 or 2/3 of required places).

did one tournament myself, but, before it was created, already had about 80% of the teams that agreed to sign in usually we use the forums to invite the managers to join and don't risk losing our credits. by the way, I was very interested in your tournament but I'm still playing in one...

I've used 5 forums at least: Serbian, Slovenian, Croatian, Bosnian and International. Friendly pages on several occasions, my friend even made a interview with me for PPM News about that tournament. Still it wasn't enough.
Is it bad timing (summer time), couple of heavy weight that signed up, too many credit tournaments, people who are already participating in some (like yourself)... I don't know whats true cause, but I really needed this one to work, and if not - to try again until it does.

I wanted to create a tournament, I didn't because I wanted to focus it for Venezuela teams. So I started a post in the Venezuelan forum so teams that could afford to get in the tournament confirm me if they are willing to enter it. Eventually, I didn't get more than 5 teams. Like you guys said before, is not profitable for anyone to make a tournament with not many teams, so I decided not to open the torney.
I guess, if we think smart, we open a thread for the tournament and we can confirm the number of teams will be coverded, then we start the tournament and we don't waste credits creating a torney.
That's my advice to you guys.

If you have small community, you will never be able to find enough teams for pre arranged tournament. Similar goes for community that has low percentage of purchased credits.
All you can hope is that people from other countries will fill empty slots that left.

Maybe i'm alone on this, but i would like to see more modern football shirt designs instead of these more old fashioned ones with the collars, or a choice between the two!

I'm pretty sure if I make the torney international it will be filled. That's my point exactly, I did it that way because I was measuring how many teams could afford to pay credits to enter. If people don't want to lose credits creating a tournament that will not be filled, they should first announce it so they can get enough people confirming their desire to enter the torney. I know is not a guarantee, but is better than opening it and then having your credits wasted.

I see your point, and it sounds logical. But if I wasn't able to fill tournament with all actions mentioned before, I couldn't be so sure it will happen even if an announcement is made.

I think is pretty obvious that making a national credit tournament is going to bring trouble to small communities. This is not the case for bigger ones. But it's better to waste time writting a post announcing the tournament, than opening and then not fill it. If it doesn't fill the requirements, they can always shorten the number of teams involved and all that. I think another aspect is timing, if you open a torney when another one will start at the same time, it's pretty hard to get it filled. That's another thing to take in consideration.

Somehow I think we have a small detour. I wasn't complaining about low sign up, but about losing all of my 50 credits. Anyway, if nothing is going to change about that, and if knowing that I'm pretty stubborn about some decisions, we are not going anywhere with this talk. There is no new tournament for me, announced or unannounced one.

I think the logo and jersey of teams must be protected from copy paste!
otherwise in future some users may copy the logo and Jersey of other managers and this may cause some problems, the best solution is to prevent it from now, users shouldn't have possibility to save these images.

That's impossible to accomplish, anything that is shown on the screen can be copied from the user side.

but some acts like disabling selecting or right click can be done!
