Steve Lormor got a goal in a tight placement game loss to the Bricktown TwigStarz. The goal propelled Lormor to the 100 career point milestone with the team. He is the 20th player to reach that milestone. The Patches wish to bounce back from this setback and rally around Lormor to win the series.
Bricktown Twigstarz capatalized on a quick start, and some shaky goaltending from Thomas Kennedy on their way to a 6-4 home win vs. Calgary. In what was a very back and forth game, they managed to make the most of their oppurtunities, scoring 6 on 21 shots. To Calgary's credit, they iced a solid lineup, getting very good games from top line English players Ethan Lambert and Darren Betts. Game 2 looks like it has the makings of a classic, with one team looking to close out the series, and the other wanting to rebound on home ice from a stinging defeat.
In other news, the Raging Pigs fended off the highly touted FlyingHeadz, putting 5 past Petr Machacek, on the road none the less. Game 2 goes Monday, Go Pigs Go
Next season should be fun.

The Raging Pigs continue to roll.
After beating Xenons on the last game of the season to make the playoffs (thanks to the Screaming Weasels who beat the Bricktown TwigStarz in regulation), the Raging Pigs took two straight against the FlyingHeadz, formerly of division I.1.
The FlyingHeadz, top ranked team in the regular season in II.3 and 3rd place finishers in Canada's National Cup, are now shockingly out of the playoffs.
How long can the Raging Pigs' Cinderella story last? Next up: another former division I.1 squad, the Screaming Weasels.

So apparently we reseed each round. You'll have to wait your turn Screaming Weasels, Canadiens 100 ans are next.

Getting bored playing now. I enjoy building my arena, player practice, but the game aspect just isn't what it used to be anymore. This might be my last season as a manager.
Best of luck to those moving on in the playoffs.

Woops! Whoever plays the Raging Pigs in week one this season is getting a break. While intending to leave a competitive team and running a training camp, I accidentally did not leave enough left defencemen, so a 15 (soon to be 16) year old with no experience will get his first ever start... uh oh
Aha, I played a defenceman with 60 defense 2 friendlies ago, lol, still won 5-3. Not a hard opponent, but we were both playing on very high importance.

Good luck this season everybody. By the looks of it I've a lot of growing yet to do. Hopefully I don't embarrass myself too bad this season.
