Our old low OR goalies are holding their own this year.
Doing way better than my young, high OR goalie.
And I thought goaltending would be one of my team's strengths. Oh well...

Experience in goaltending seems to be quite important. Unfortunately, I have low XP goalies.
With a 4-1 over the Stimulators, one of the Calgary Patches has also reached a milestone. Graham Main notched an assist to become the 21st player in Patches history to reach the 100 point career mark with the team. This includes regular season, playoff, placement, and promotion/relegation matches. Defenseman Finley Nash is closeby with 98 points.
The Raging Pigs' amazing string of 15 consecutive wins came to a close today against the Screaming Weasels in a showdown for 2nd place.
I take full blame for the loss as I accidentally started back-up goaltender, Ladislav Petr, who actually played very well in the contest.

Although the Calgary Patches endured a crushing defeat to the Strasbourg Libre Nordique, it was a milestone moment for defenseman Finley Nash who recorded the Patches' lone goal to reach 100 career points with the team. He becomes the 22nd player in Patches history to reach that milestone and currently sits 11th in points for active players on the team. Congratulations Nash! After the defeat, the team needs to regroup for an end-of-the-season push.
Good game. 2nd place is still a possibility for you. You just need to get on another roll and hope for a couple Weasel losses down the stretch.
A good game indeed, though I do wonder what the result would have been with Cocievski in net. Hopefully we will meet again this season so that I can find out.
I don't think I have a chance to catch you because you're not going to lose 2 more games. I'm going to need to win out the remainder of my schedule to fend off Xenons to hold onto 3rd.
I'm sure my former III.11 rivals - Hamilton Hammers, Ottawa Magicians, Rebelles, WebSimSports, Calgary Patches, and Cambridge Hornets - will make winning out very difficult.

I still have a game against FlyingHeadz so you probably don't quite have to win out.
Loss to the Hammers doesn't help my chances. Now I have to win out.
A) I suspect I'll lose a couple games down the stretch.
b) Losing to the Hammers hurt you for sure.
c) The top teams in our division are all so close (other than Headz). Any one of us could beat or lose to each other in any game.

Unless you plan on running a training camp, I can't see you dropping out of the 2-hole.
3rd is still up for grabs as Xenons still has to play the Flames and the Headz.
I'm worried about the TwigStarz making a run at 4th.

Out of myself, the raging pigs and twigstarz; the raging pigs have the easiest schedule.
The TwigStarz are going to have a tough time making a run at 4th place. They still have to play 3 teams in the top 8.

Yeah, I still have to play the FlyingHeadz away, and as much as Falcon is below me, could easily rout me. I'll be happy if I go 2 and 2, I could easily go 1-3.
Falcon looks poised to leapfrog the Magicians and the Flames right into the 6 seed. They are a dangerous foe, not to be taken lightly.
