And you played your injured goalie! No fear of further injury? I've never had it happen to me, and I've only seen it happen one other time (player had the flu, played a game, came down with pneumonia!), but I still just sit my guys until they're fully healed.

I never play injured players either.

Apparently I'm the odd one then. I've been playing injured players since I started. I think I've only ever seen one reinjured. It was either 1 or 0. So far there's been virtually no down side so I'll keep playing them until it changes.

I normally don't play my injured guys either unless it's a super important game and there's nobody around to replace them.

With all my focus on the draft, I didn't think about his injury, so I accidentally left him in. Oh well!

20% drop in play for the player for each day he is injured.

That's what I was going to add. The fact that when I do play injured players (only if I deem it necessary) that they never perform as well as they usually do.

Is Calle Jeppson your only backup goalie? He's crap It wouldn't cost much to upgrade would it?
