In seasons past I have tended to "take the consequences" of playing on very low (formerly low) and then it paid off in the playoffs. This past season, I broke that rule and played way too much on low and normal, and it cost me in the first round. We'll see what this new season brings! Good luck to everyone!
Energy management is going to be tougher this season since importance matters a bit more. Saving energy for the playoffs worked well for me last season, but I'm going to have to take this season's regular games more seriously since I have a decent shot at finishing in the top 8.
Good luck to everyone, and feel free to take it easy on my new goalie I'm breaking in. It was kinda sad to see the old one go since he'd been the starter since my 2nd week of playing well over a year ago, but his time had come.

Backups played a pretty solid game today, despite the loss. Can't wait to get the big guns back, though.
Don't worry your next game is against me and I just started a camp.
I think my guys will still be in camp, too. The price I pay for having to get in via the Promotion/Relegation round.
I went crazy at sending players camp. Once I was done I noticed I didn't have enough players in one position to fill my lines out. Had to go to the market and buy a cheap player to fill them. So we should have a wild game.
That's about how I expected it to go. Not ready to play with the big boys yet, I'm afraid. Haha!
Well I lost 2-1 despite dominating possession in the offensive zone and outshooting something crazy like 31-17. I think third period possession was like 61-39 in favor of me. Oh well. It's the way things go. Mighty Sticks is my nemesis, after all.

My old guys played better good today. I think once your camp is over you will do better. The main thing the first season moveing up is to stay up and you have a good chance at doing it. I went right back down to III my first time in II by a point or two. Just keep working hard.
8 penalties against 0 penalties.... thanks ref... never heard of the away team paying off the ref
