So it sounds like I get the dubious honor of being the only team in USA who started well after season 1 who's close to completing an arena. Go me!
It depends on how you define "well after." There are 5 actually, also including the Wranglers, my team, Faketown Mascots (who started in season 3), and the Rainbow Unicorns. Of those teams, you and the Rainbow Unicorns started notably after season 5, with you having started a little over a season later than them.
then i guess i could say that about myself when it comes to soccer!!! I could have planned to finish next season but i am not sure if i can sell the seats playing on D2 so i may hold a while to finish the last 2 triple
I will have mine done in 2 to 2.5 seasons. I basically started S13 ( S12 D85) So s18 or s19. 6 seasons should be one of the quickest to a full rink.
I just checked football. Same there should be done in 2 to 3 seasons. Started S9 D12. So 6 seasons both sports. Handball. Have not even started... 
My football stadium will be finished in 2 days. I've started the first max triple in handball.
How about if we settle on "team who started most recently" and leave it at that?
Now I've got to figure out if it's worthwhile investing in things like lighting, ice quality and all that.

My next 2 games will be interesting as I play the Wranglers and then the Blue Mountain Rebels. The league title might effectively be decided by Monday.
I think you'll come out a head, You've got me beat in everything but goal tending and shooting and there's not a huge points difference there.

I actually have 2 injuries on defense, so you might have a better chance than you expect, though it will still probably be a toss up.
I got my best pull of the past few season. The winger's unscouted qualities are 99-59-92-96 and he has nearly 300 OR with 5/6 CL. Probably the best that I can hope for.
II.1 is somehow the 7th richest league in the whole world. It is probably counting the Irresistible Force though.
That was a very exciting and close series against the Dooshnozzles. I even had to buy a new player at the last minute to secure my victory. Now I get the privilege of playing the Wranglers in the semi-finals. It should be a great series, but whoever advance might be too tired to accomplish anything in the finals.
I was lucky enough to sneak past the Wranglers. It's too bad that I had to play them in the semifinals. I'm sure that they will eventually be back in I.1, especially with their stadium.
Now I have to figure out how to beat the Blue Mountain Rebels.
