haha I mean maybe you are worse than a couple teams behind you, but you are still sitting in second after almost a full season, and that has to say something about your team/managing.

I also always try to promote no matter what.

I honestly think it's a fluke that I'm still in second. The only reason why I'm here is because I've avoided any upsets so far. All six of my losses have been to the top 4 teams. I only have one win against you guys, and I think Northcutt screwed something up because I never beat him.

But I have my camp going (top trainer at 2.46!), so I'll be able to go for promotion if I think it's the smart thing to do.

The backups come through! Atomics get the 3 points that clinch at least 3rd place. *fist pump*

I like the "at least" part. Barring a Bombsville loss and a Boilermakers win on Monday or a two game losing streak by the Goldfish, second will be decided in a head-to-head matchup. Of course the difference is only 1.15m in prize money, a slightly better trophy and home-ice advantage if we meet in the playoffs. Wednesday should be an exciting game, don't get caught with your pants down on Monday.

My pants are already down=) I completely forgot about today's game until a few minutes before puck drop. Played on Very Low. Luckily Michalovce did the same (He's finally training Pass on his goalies, so he could be a beast next season, definitely the one after).

As far as Monday's match with DHC, there's not much I can do except change tactics. I can barely field 3 decent forward lines. But a lot of the guys I have to use on defense are former starters. And still quite good. I think I'm even getting a better defensive rating with these guys than I do with the starters.

Second place is coming down to the last game of the season. I love it

Not much else up for grabs. 5th & 6th could change places, but the Flatulant are playing the dead Rage. Same for 8th and 9th after the Purple Cows choked today. Now the Serpents have the better match-up and could steal the final playoff spot.

No battles in the promo/relegation spots either. This was a very dry season.

NOOOO!!!! After falling behind 3-5 early in the second period, the Atomics make an amazing comeback only to see the Boilermakers tie the game up with 16 seconds left in the match. And with my shootout order screwed up because of Rimando's injury, the Nico Demon easily stops 2 of our 3 shots in the shootout. I hate that guy.

That was an exciting game. It's not often that there's a shootout to determine 2nd place (or any position). I wasn't able to watch the game, but its probably a good thing that I didn't. The shootout was worth about 1.15 million in prize money, talk about a million dollar shot.

You did get to "the Demon" pretty well. Hopefully that's his worst game for the rest of the year.

Playoffs should be interesting. The Goldfish are expected to win, but there's 4 teams within 7 OTS for 2nd-5th.

We have some seriously epic matches. Playoffs last season went to a shootout in the third game. Nine rounds! Even the league cup match in soccer went into extra time.

I always seem to get to the Demon once, but then he shuts the damn door when it matters.

Stoked about today's win. Northcutt's been in my head for a while. I don't know if they win every time, but it sure feels like it. Very happy to be up 1-0.

Am I missing something obvious? Is there a way to see the playoff results? The actual scores from the games without having to visit each team's calendars?

Do you see the scores on that page? I don't. Must be a ProPack thing. So instead of having a quick glance, I have to load 6 pages. More if I want to see results from the placement games. I don't mind the PP having some advantages, but not being able to see the playoff results and having the scouted player list PP only is daft.

actually my season objective is completed. being new here and this being only my 2nd full season, im kinda surprised i made the playoffs.

Easy loose... The fans were there for the team, though: "The crowd throw down some garbage at the ice in reaction to the fact that the referee didn't call the penalty. The crowd is going mad."
