Hover your cursor over the little construction sign. Not the big one on the picture of the arena. The little one in the 'Stands and accessories' part with all of the hockey pucks.
Brent Rimando just became the first player in Bombsville Atomics history to reach 300 points
125G + 175A. He's been consistent with mid 30s points, but this season he has been a beast. 50 pts in 25 games. Hooray.

And Brent Rimando picks up his second two week injury of the season. Does anyone need to be stabbed in the face?
Did you all know that the season is almost over? We only have 6 games left. Not a very exciting season=)
Realistically, 2-4 will change spots. 5-7 are close, but Northcutt will probably take 5th. And I expect the Purple Cows to hold off the Serpents.

Not that anyone seems to care, but I'm conceding second place. At least. I've sent all but 4 of my starters to camp. I was able to sub in 7 former starters, so maybe it won't be too bad. But the other players are very weak.
I actually wanted to do this after the Lunatics game on Friday. It slipped my mind

Do you figure you can get to the playoff finals regardless of being 2nd or 3rd?

I'm doing better than expected in a watered down II.1, but my defense would get exposed in I.1. Look at the defensive strength's of the top teams. I was over 10 points worse than the 4th or 5th best team last I checked. I'm pretty much in the middle of rebuilding the whole defense. Right now it sucks.
So there's almost no point in going up to I.1. However, I usually run my camps during the playoffs. Doing one now opens up the possibility for me to do something stupid like trying to promote.

I disagree, am I going to get tossed out of I.1 after one season? yes, handily it appears.
But I'm happy competing at this level, and next season I'll go down to II.4 or II.3, hopefully win and try again. And with the kept OTR from promoting, what harm does it do?
But i've always said that I wanted to promote no matter how hard I get smacked down, and I'm just saying i still feel that way.

And for the people who say oh, stay down to keep building OTR and money, granted this season I got to keep OTR by promoting, which is new, but this season's income to date is equal to 20 percent of my income from day 1 to today.
No problem, I can beat you then in the next game, and after that you will have easy games

I'm not giving up on promotion for the OTR or money or anything like that. I'm staying down because my team isn't very good. I haven't checked in a few weeks, but my defensive strength was over 10 points worse than the top 5 teams in our league. I think it was over 20 behind Boilermakers and light years behind Goldifsh. My best d-man has 160D. That's terrible, right? They're playing above their heads this season, but I've been waiting for the penny to drop all season.
Of course, this is all pointless. Boilermakers and The Flatulant are both better teams and have proven it on the ice. I'm 0-3 against them so far with 5GF and 10GA. But I'll still email you at some point with some stupid questions
