back home yeah, Ronald was the first player that I have seen that is not a goalie and didn't score any goal or had any assist that made the 3 star selection!!!

Talked to marsrover earlier this week about some adjustments and gave Little North a shot today even though we have great wingers. And I am very pleased with his great performance in the fast break. Will work to continue to give him opportunities.

Jay Woodall is a winger with great passing skills. Gave him a shot at back but for some reason his shooting percentage were horrible even though he is a top shooter (and high technique). But so was Mario Tubbs (if not include the 7m shots). So I assume this was due to their back defense.

William Jack never let 3 consecutive goals so he ended playing the entire match. That should please those who want him to get more chemistry/experience.

The good thing about Belarus beating Hungary is that Hungary will be forcing to play VH next few matches increasing chances they will beat Spain.

I scouted bunch of couple of guys from Hungary. I cant upload it today or tommorow cause Im not home. I can send you a screenshot though.

My strategy was a bit different from the get go. I immediately upgraded my arena to large stand ups maxed out with press centers giving me a 2000 seat arena within the first month. That little bit of extra income in handy and I didn't have to take out loans to get the big 3 to level 10, but I did to get my triple floor multi purpose.

We will have a rest this week from the Qualifications. I am opening the discussion for the lineup against our friendly opponent.

For defensive backs I am thinking on placing "wingers" with top block. Not planning on playing Tubbs and Wells because their defense has not been very good, statistically, and we could save some energy in there.

This is the chance for you guys to suggest for the OPEN slots and make comments on the "fixed" slots.

WasUpNerd will be responsible for the tactics for this friendly.

I have created an excel for player stats and will soon create a page in the website to display players stats from NT matches.

Players selection, for this friendly, were based on their statistical performance.

OPEN places is where I am very open to try different players based on the community input.

for Open CB I am thinking on playing Jay Woodall at RB and moving Wells to CB.

Re: using "wingers" as backs:

My new player Strapac is technically a winger (with slightly more OR and quality for speed, at least at the moment), but he has the potential to be a good back (the quality is almost as good and the OR is still very good if a little lower than the speed), and I needed a back more than another LW. He has been very effective in that position, making a fair amount of fast breaks. It's a strategy that might be effective, though I would test it in a few friendlies first. The "winger" would need to still be a good back, and a good back with high speed would be even better.

just a note: that thought was for defensive line .... Unless playing a fast break, dont see how passing can help a defender... I can see how speed could

For the offensive line, Jay woodall is "almost" a back too as he has good passing.

passing is for steals and turnovers. Best defence against fast breaks is shooting. Score goals...

I finished scouting all NT players and now scouting a few USA prospects.

steal should be speed imo as player could be fast to go into the passing lane. specially if playing 3-2-1 where the backs have to constantly move fast to 7-9m line

Whether defensive backs need passing depends on how the game calculates the quality of a team. It makes sense that passing isn't necessary unless the defense rushes into an offense attack without changing players on a fast break, but the game might calculate the value a defensive back contributes to the team (for team strength and/or actual performance) based on the quality of the player as a back rather than based on a common sense evaluation of how a player's abilities should be effective. There is no mention in the guide of defensive backs needing or not needing passing.

In any case, it is a good idea to try in friendlies, though there is only one friendly to try it on the immediate schedule. It could help with steals and fast breaks (if you were to use a fast break oriented strategy).

on fast breaks most passes comes from goalie so the player receiving the pass all he needs to do is run.

sometimes the fast break starts from a player, that likely stole the ball. So passing makes sense in this case as this dude will be the one sending the fast break pass.

Goalie pass is secondary . That means, a winger with secondary type of training (same as technique) could possible be effective on fast break passing.
