I've definitively been playing him... don't worry. Just trying to keep a good balance between exp gain and training gains.
I just realized that we your player Christopher Womack is a brother of my former player Don Womack
. Speaking of Don I think he has a pretty good chance of making the team.

Tough to say who has the better plan for facilities 2-3-4 seasons out... sure mine might be lagging a bit now, but I wonder how mojo's money streams will compare in future seasons...
Sure he has better OTR and is in a higher league so his general sponsorship will be a bit better than mine, but I'll be getting at least 16 million more than him in media dollars next season, plus I'll have 2000 more seats than him. In 26 league games, that's an extra $20.8 million more than he'll be getting. Sure he's been able to sell players because he's had good S.A. luck but I don't know if you can rely on that income long term... as many of us know... the S.A. can be a fickle beast.

Haha yep. As is often the case in real life, the younger brother is vastly better than the older brother lol.
It'll still take over 2 season to become worthwhile and pay back the 80M spent to build the facility and have as much money as you would have had as if you had never purchased the extra seats. In addition, you lost the value of the better players and improvements from your facilities that the money could have bought (as well as the value of the players you could have sold by having purchased better players) in the time since you bought the stands. It'll be substantially worthwhile in the long run, but it will still take quite a while to gain a substantial advantage with that strategy.
Their brother Marcos Carpenter is pretty good at soccer
Hmm. I wonder if I can link soccer players in the handball forum...Nice!

I have not scouted fugal but i can say training facilities is not a reason to pick or not a player.
While Mojo is 60+ days ahead and he will be one level ahead for a while, a team can always stall at one point and also player can always be sold.
You must have scouted him to say how close Q he has but 93, 94,91 is hard to beat

All that's true... but I think we'll find that few teams will be able to keep up with their pace of facility upgrades.
There's teams that have been able to start a new upgrade the day the previous one finishes. That will become a thing of the past as soon as next season (when we get to lvl 11, 12, and 13), because the upgrades get exponentially more expensive (at the same time the upkeep costs are getting exponentially more expensive).
I wouldn't be surprised if I catch up to most people's average facility level in a season or 2.
Thing is, it'll be a lot harder for them to set money aside and start building arenas THEN, because they won't have as much money coming in anymore.
So yeah, I'd say by season 6ish, i think I'll be sitting quite pretty, and surpassing most of the facility levels of the people who are currently ahead of me. There's a few exceptions obviously... but on average I'll be better off than the vast majority of teams out there in terms of money.
Lloyd Russ will be 18 then. Still plenty of time to train.

Heh I was recommending to add them to the depth charts. Time will tell if either of them will make the NT team. Always good to have players on the radar due to the fact that if they are not good enough for the NT team they will be good enough for the U20 team.

Honestly, I'm basically going the same route as you (I will have one max triple soon, though I set myself back a season for a half of a triple to keep my team relevant and compensate for my sports academy); I just have a few doubts about how much more successful this strategy will turn out to be relative to the alternatives.
Teams will definitely slow down with building new facilities now. Up to this point, all the teams were essentially the same except for in the quality of their sports academy pulls. Now is the time where different strategies will start to be effective.

completely agree. don't get me wrong, I think that there's a few teams that could do well enough without focusing on their arena.
If you can build up your TF and Regen and SA and Education Center, you can successfully just game the market for extra money. The problem is, that is a very difficult way to make steady money for MOST managers and definitely only for the very experienced, active managers (ie. not me)
The way I see it, if you can keep your team relevant (competing and winning games) while upgrading your arena when others aren't, you'll have an advantage in a few seasons. Bulls4ever is the perfect example. He's currently atop your division, but he'll have like 4500 more seats than most teams by the end of the season. If you ask me, he's set to really pull ahead of even most of the division 1 competition.

I just wish that Ronald could do the same thing for my team
