yeah. sorry about the other reply...it reads much angrier than i intended.
maybe, there should be limits of players for each position. for example:
2-6 defenders
2-7 midfielders
1-4 forwards
2-6 defenders
2-7 midfielders
1-4 forwards
I think that it still would be a problem because a manager could place all players on one side.
Like: 6 right defenders, 3 right midfielder, 1 right forward.
Like: 6 right defenders, 3 right midfielder, 1 right forward.
the limits i am familiar with are max 5 defenders, max 5 midfielders, and max 3 strikers/forwards. these bizarre formations are a real travesty. knowing the limits, or what they will be set to, would be a huge help,
Hopefully it is, these stupid formations are really annoying.
I still think it's kinda retarded.. Well, it's 4-4-2 but the formation looks stupid. And he plays low importance too.

It likely only worked so well because the other team's players weren't very good.
Check the player ratings... if the opponent had had more players with a 4 rating it would have been closer in possession

Yepp, I guess you're right. Lower chemistry and default formation should not be that good. Thanks for the answer!
