Asunto: Canada Senior NT Discussion

Don't know if some people watch the NT games live? Just in case, we play with a B-team, mostly substitutes. It's the right time to save some energy and give more XP and chem to Ivan Gow and Hudson Young.

B team did the job for a 2-0 win. Good to see both 20's Young and Gow scoring 1 goal each, their first one in official game with Senior NT.

Next game Uruguay!

Tough job for next game with a bunch of players from Kenora in TC. Add the injury to Borden and we have 3 CD out. Time for subs to shine

lol actually OAP, Stingers, Bow Valley and Dillon Caroll are in TC, I can only dress 21 players. I'll go as is though and let the guys enjoy their full bonus. But please, don't start another TC today!

WE would have likes to win last game for sure. Many guys were in TC, but I thought we had enough depth to win without some regulars. OTS proved me right, 226 vs 201 for them. Yet despite being home we were outshot; and outscored!

Overall we are 2nd in the group, there are 4 teams with 13 and 12 points, and Argentina has 7 in 5th place. That's not enough to play energy management next season, but if we secure early wins we'll be in good position.

We played once 4-3-3, once 4-4-2, I think once 5-4-1 and three times 4-5-1. We lost both games with 4-3-3 and 4-4-2.

I don't see a lot of changes next season. Pete Brooks and Nolan Quirk will be selected. I'll trim our fwds from 7 currently down to 4 or 5. Gary Kidds and Bobby Holmes are out, I'm unsure what to do with Jair James and Nathan Jobson, maybe keep them both with 2 free spots, though they won't see a lot of action...

Easy win yesterday against Peru. We only had 15 players dressed because of training camps. I had already selected the roster earlier last week, and hadn't checked before Saturday to see that several selected players were on TC. I chose to let them get full bonus, especially considering it was only a friendly game.

I'm choosing players for PPM challenge cup. I won't select players from NKJD who are on TC. Dillon Caroll won't be there either.

OAP's final training camp will end Tuesday night.
