Train players? No.
Friendlies actually result in lower training for players.
Energy is a factor in training, and playing in games lowers energy.
The effect isn't much and generally the revenue outweighs the cost.

Matches played don't help players train better. Actually, the players that played the match train a little bit slower in that day because their energy is lower. One little tip for you: play friendly matches with very low importance. That way your players will lose less energy.
PPM is an manager game, and you need to have patience. It's hard to make money.
But, the fastest ways are: play all your friendly matches, improve your arena so that more spectators could come to your league games.
Also, training players will bring you more money.
P.S.: I saw you build Snack Bar and Souvenires shop at your arena, you shoudln't. You should add more seats.

He can't. His experience as manager is to low (23).

If you play low, normal or high, the energy lost is the same, so the training will be the same (almost the same).

??? don't get you now, what do you mean by energy lost for high, normal and low are the same
Current energy mate.
As far as I know, training is influenced by [seasonary energy - current energy (after regeneration)]. But, current energy is not influenced by game importance.
Let's say we have a player with energy 100/100. If he plays on low, he will have 84/100; if he plays on very low he will have 84/100. Got it ?

From the game Guide:
'It decreases faster, if the games are played with high importance.'
'It decreases faster, if the games are played with high importance.'
I got it, but I didn't paying attention on that ever. I thought that on very low could be 84/100 and for very high 78/100, since energy drop is evident if you play with higher importance (after game).
I think I might stop playing friendlies then as it doesn't help attributes. (i thought this was like a different game where friendlies helped increase atts)
What about OTR increase?
And chemistry, experience, money?
And chemistry, experience, money?
It help chemistry, experience (a little) and money, so you should probably play friendlies.
