what does a red SUB next to a player's name mean?

It means he's a Substitute. You need to create at least 3 full lines, preferably 4 so your players don't get tired too fast. And use the players from the top 3 lines only to create two PP & PK lines.

Quick question again:

Tactical options, When the guide says that it would be more appropriate to choose offensive tactic if your Team is stronger than your opponent or When your Team is better in offensive play than defensive (forces/attributes)...Does it apply to the whole Team altoghether (as general force) or Does it apply to Line by Line?

Well since you can't apply a tactic to a given line, the guide is suggesting it for the entire lineup.

trouble is that if we do that, there will be a riot. it will be even worse than when we increased the influence of passing or given bigger penalty for poor shooting. people already have their players trained in some way and if we change it, they will eat us alive. I know what I am talking about.

Well you've done things progressively so far so why not do something like that into 2-3 seasons so people can get ready for such a big change...

Honestly, I can't enjoy this game thinking that only primaries and secondaries should be trained....how is it with the football engine and all the different attributes?

Yeah, if you let us know a couple seasons in advance, we can't get too pissed.

This whole game is merely a 2:1:1 machine and it isn't that great.

There is no diversity.

Oh by the way who are those guys who would eat you alive? World Top 50 teams? Others?

Eveytime you did a new announcement regarding some evolution in the game I guess most people loved it. They might have whined a little at the beginning but they adapted to it (that's human nature to whine everytime and then adapt for progress). Also now teams have really developped their facilities and changing their players training wouldn't take so long and most of people would do it at the same time. Eventually it would be a new challenge for those who didn't train their players in such way and it would be more fun to set lines and tactics...

One last thing, businesswise I understand you have to make changes according to your customers desire AND your possibilities, otherwise they won't enjoy and go away.
But basically a successful business that don't evolve becomes very often a failure just because people lose interest in it in the long run.

Do you agree with that?
