Asunto: Information about NT

To be honest I expected U20 earlier But I asked creators each season several times and answer was always uncertain. In previous season they wrote that maybe it will be in 10th or 11th season, but when I asked last time (in november) they were unable to say any time horizont. So I called up 2 young players...
So I agree that they should inform us earlier, in time where we could react...

Exactly. If they annouced now, I think it should be launched in 11th season, or we should keep our 20 yo. players in the team...

I hope that U20 will be in next season because many NTs dont cared about possibility of existence of U20 NTs... finally will be our caution awarded!

I very much like it that U17/U20 will come next season. It's about time. Of course it would have been great to know this two weeks earlier but it's not too late I would think. It's still the beginning of the season and we're not in WC qualification yet. So there is time to prepare.

Only thing is the 19y or younger players. I also called two of those recently, one of them I was planning to make him the second choice for his position. Now I have to call someone else, but for me that's just a minor problem. Of course it's a bigger problem if you have several 19y players. But on the other hand, as Anton was saying, there always was the risk they start the youth teams.

And btw, I think it would be good if they start next season, because in this way the youth WC will be on years in which the senior team only has the PPMFCC.

In our team will be out 8 players. With one planned, but the other 7 are in the team because we thinked that the U17 and U20 will be launched this season, or in the 11th season. We cannot make changes, just in the next season. We will loose 7 players, who we planned play with in the WorldCup. I think we don't have time to prepare now...
It would be better if the captains would decide abaut the future of the 20 yo. players...

But, of course I see your special problem. You have two very fine 19 olds in your team that play regularly. But I don't think PPM could or should postpone it or make an exception for 20y olds if the youth teams come next season. There is in general too much benefit if they install it asap. My opinion.

As I said, I see your point, but I really think the youth teams should not be postponed if they are ready next season. And then, again, there always was that peculiar risk of introduction of youth teams. I also took it by calling a 19y old. But to rely on 8 youths, that was imho very risky.

I don't know about other countries and if this is a widespread problem. Maybe lets hear from them.

We aren't the only team with this problem.
If we knew this info at the start of the season we changed our 8 youth players, and would called in older ones. But now we cannot change. Nobody thinked that the U teams will be relased in the middle of a season...
I don't think, that the postponation is the answer for this problem. In my opinion it should be an option to change the 20 years old players in national teams. If the U20 captain needs a player, and the adult dosen't, it can go to the U20. It's easy and fair I think, and in the real life can players be switched between the teams too. But for one season it's not a good idea to take out players from the adult NT, and put them in to a new team...

Yes, but we all have to cope with this and are on equal footing. Question is, if many teams are that much affected as you. Some teams like czech republic or us mostly avoided calling young players for this reason (I broke with it this season, not to my advantage). I think it's about the risks you take.

But ok, maybe you have a point, I don't have a strong opinion on this.
That still leaves us with the technical stuff. Could PPM easily code this? And, who will get the priority, senior team manager or youth team manager? Because you have to incorporate some decent mechanism. It can't be first come, first serve. Imagine a situation were the managers don't communicate and want the players for themselves.

You have to make a cut und the cut is 20 years. I dont think they should make exceptions because this will be probably circumstancial to do.

I agree with you that this is not the best time to announce it, but right now there are only 2 friendlies played, so I think it would be a fair option for all national teams to open the teams once again for removing players so the coaches can apply to the new situation if the have need for.

I think it can be solved, just has to be wanted to solved. The priority should be on the adult teams, but it's almost egal, because inside a nation I think people can decide it.
The bigger problem is, that we read this some weeks after everybody called in all the needed players, and now cannot change, and cannot recalculate the plans for the qualifications and for the WorldCup...

Not because of the 2 friendlies, now we cannot change the team, and we build the basics to our young players, included on 4 from the 7 now 19 yo players. We cannot change until next season, but why must we change everything in the year of the worldcup because of a bad timing and incorrect player handling?
It's easy, the 20 year old players NT team should be decided by the NT maganers, not by the game planners...

In Paraguay I practically will not have players to call...

Paraguay NT has just started this season, cause their League started this season also.

I hope that young NTs come as soon as possible, cause they will reinforce the community participation in forums and the game.

The smaller countries like us will be benefited in that way.
