Remember if we want to win the Untied States Bid we need people to vote for it. I want every USA Manger to vote for the bid for the senior world championships in Division I category.

Only the national team managers vote - I'll support it though, and kejoh should if he remembers.

This is new to me. Anyways do you think we can get enough support or do you think other managers are going to vote for other countries?

I think a fair portion of the national team managers won't vote, and the rest will choose the best logo and mascot.

Bosnia's logo is a little lazy. While the mascot looks okay at first, a google image search shows that it was copied and pasted from a costume shop in Serbia.

I think the United States looks better than Portugal, but it's probably a toss-up. Portugal mentioned that they hosted other tournaments recently - perhaps that might work against them. Portugal's mascot also looks like a re-skinned version of a preexisting mascot.

You might consider trying to get some support from the Canadian managers since the U.S. community and Canadian community often cooperate for creating special tournaments and pools. I can't promise that such an action, advertising in another country's forum or sending messages, wouldn't be against the terms of service. Maybe tescosamoa can clarify that. I would definitely check into it first.

Generally, I don't think national team managers will necessarily be biased towards particular countries.

On second thought, being too aggressive about it wold mostly just annoy people that are otherwise indifferent.

I voted for the U.S. bid.

Right I would most likely just send a pm to the Canadian Senior Manager and ask him for his help instead of going to the forum

Okay while we wait for the World Championship Bids to sort out I need to make a few announcements. First off I will be seeking reelection in the next voting cycle. I do not plan on stepping away from this team until we become better unless the people want someone else to represent the USA. Next season Cory Martin will not be returning as my assistant manager. I wish to thank Cory for his help and his services for USA Hockey and all these seasons of hard work. I however will need a new assistant manager. Anyone may apply for the spot through more experience is preferred as is league play success. Anyone who wishes to apply either send me a mail message with their arguments or make there case in this thread. I will make my announcement once the world championships are over.

Good News guys. The Untied States has won the bid for the Division I World Championships. I am proud of the hard work and I would like to thank all those involved.

The Untied States beat Germany 5-4 in overtime in the friendly game of the day. This is the first time the first and second line and starting goalie played a friendly game. They all looked good and I am preparing for the world championships. I hope your all enjoying your playoff games and good luck on trying to either win promotion, avoid relegation, or if your in division I win the championship.
