Thanks to KillerPuck212 for helping last season. He didnt have time as he is in college but made all the effort to help the NT team.

Since last season I didnt have much time neither until the world cup, I signed an assistant that will sure have time and hopefully take over the position soon

This may be my last season as head coach. If not I will play only one more.

My main goal is and will always be to support the NT managers (and regular managers) with database development.

It is time for our new super star goalie!!!
Last season I tested Kevin Clinton and the he showed great potential. I explained to him if he trained right pushing to the limits he would be the starter this season.

Today he proved he is right. He was the best player in the match allowing USA to beat the #1 Latvia playing at their territory.

Today is a day to open the champagne and celebrate!!!!

That third line of prospects is performing well, to boot. Although they haven't scored, they have yet to be scored on. I think that's worth noting. Let the celebration commence!

3rd line is very experimental. It is the prospect line. It is good to see they are not doing too bad. I expected worse (not scoring and allowing many goals)

Need also to mention we will be playing the top countries this season.

Yeah he's helping my team stay near the top this season too.

Today's friendly game against Serbia was a little disappointing, but no cause for alarm. Kevin Clinton continues to perform admirably. Our penalty kill, coupled with our experimental third line of prospects, were the weak links today. 2 of Serbia's 3 goals were scored on the man advantage. While line 3 had neither scored nor been scored against previously, the streak was broken today. The line not only allowed a goal, but Neo Mathews also took a penalty that resulted in a goal.

Strength-wise, we looked pretty good compared to Serbia. Their only noticeable advantages were in goaltending and of course line 3. As noted, line 3 are the team's prospects. They are currently building chemistry, and will likely be replaced with more experienced vets come tournament time.

One of the biggest strength of the experimental line is shooting. I brought a new player to the roster: Leon Coleman

he will be in the experimental lineup to help on defense. I moved Kraig Dean to the 4th line.

Cornelius Deisig is moved out

I dont think the experimental line was the main factor. We had some power play and didn't score. they were very efficient on theirs.

by playing the weakest line potentially against their 3rd line allows the 4th line to overplay the opponent weakest.

hopefully the small adjustment in the defense can make it stronger.

In a note: Serbia is the 8th best team in the ppm world.

Good game against Slovakia today. We came out of the gates with both barrels blazing, taking a 2-0 lead under 8 minutes into the game. We held that lead until 13 minutes into the second period. Even then, Slovakia didn't manage to tie it up until there were only 6 minutes and 6 seconds left in the game. Unfortunately, they netted the go-ahead goal 26 seconds later. The game was much closer than the score, since they also nabbed an empty-netter.

We're much stronger than we're showing. A close loss to Slovakia is good. They're in the Top Division and not someone we'll be facing come tournament time. Currently, Slovakia is about the second strongest national team in PPM.

the biggest challenge the better for us. I have higher expectations for this season.

Cory Martin is doing a great job.

I would like to say I am not going to run for NT this season and will support Cory Martin on his candidacy.

This season I selected the top countries to play against. I have also decided to play a full line of youngsters (line 3) so they get ready for next season.

Cory has been responsible for selecting tactics and roster. I only review it and make suggestions when I feel it is better.

Under this circumstances (playing top countries and a line full of youngsters), Cory is doing an amazing job. Much better than I expected and anticipated.

For the championship we will both talk and decide on roster and tactic.

Cory will be very ready to take over the senior team and I hope you guys vote and support him.

Thanks for the endorsement. I'll work on actually getting a presentation up for candidacy. Right now though I'm a bit busy preparing for the arctic cold moving in.

Also, I forgot to mention the game against Slovakia was played without the help of the best player on our team, Jackson Morrell , who was out due to injury.

Jackson Morrell is for sale. This is the best player on the Senior National Team. Help him find a good home!
