Asunto: US National Team

In my first World Cup match leading Senior USA team, we beat Croatia 2x0
I am proud of the boys!!

In a note, I lost my real job so now i will once again have time to play PPM

USA started pretty bad in the first period. I thought it would be a devastating loss my our boys pulled a fight losing on overtime. That overtime loss places USA in 2nd place.

USA is in a very tough group. Only Turkey has team strength less than USA. We are underdogs and surprising many.

Although we played well and shot more, our boys got tired on 3rd period and we took a huge loss.

Things are not looking well now that we moved to 4th place. We play last placed team, Turkey, in the last match

Just Finished the new Player Import Database.
it now supports

1. Multiple Sports. Allow to import Soccer, Hockey and Handball in the same screen.

2. Allows to import from different languages. Tested in USA and Portugal. The issue I will have to deal is that the Preferred Side will be imported on its own language and I will have to work to map those But anyways, it will also allow other countries to use the database.

1. Publish the site
2. Give to some managers to upload some players
3. Develop the search for NT managers.

As USA had already clinched playoffs, we played today only to try to get higher in the playoff bracket and hopefully avoid a strong team.

USA plan was to play 3 lines only where the 1st line were consisted of bench players playing 45% of the time. They would take the biggest energy hit.

2nd line would be the 4th line and play 40%. they took another big hit, but they didn't spend as much energy in the previous matches.

We also started the 2nd goalie who will be the starter for next season (barring CL drop and bad long injuries)

We beat Turkey and finished 2nd. We will face Canada.

I am very proud of our boys as USA was ranked 5th in strength and were the underdogs.

I just finished setting up friendlies for this incoming season. We will be playing some of the top countries in the ppm world.

We will play 10 out of the top 15.

We will also be traveling a lot as only 4 matches will be at home.

Belarus is the only country we will play twice this season.

I also would like to mention, that although it was not a big improvement, we finished this season with more points than previous 3 seasons.

Is there a different spot I need to check so I can send friendlies for the U20 team? Or is this something that an assistant can't do?

not sure if assistant can (i think u cant). you need to go to other country calendar and request a friendly.
if you dont see this option, then you cant.

Assistants can't send or accept challenges. I believe that Ziggy00 ran into this problem when the old manager of the national team quit.

You can send messages to managers of other national teams to make indirect challenges which can officially be sent after the elections (though you might need to search to find managers that are likely to be re-elected). Otherwise, the new manager will have to hope that some other teams neglect to schedule games, though the options will be really limited (the new manager might even have to schedule games with U18 or Senior teams).

yeah, i had 3 u21 matches this season. But the schedule wasnt too bad as i faced several countries of my division. But when i joined all matches were there setup, so somehow ziggy got it to work

Damn. I guess assistants can't send challenges then.

i think PPM should give assistant full manager position (or promote to manager) when a team folds or the account is blocked
