I am scout some players for the U20 some are owned in other countries some are here.
And I am doing that as well. The idea was to help speed up the process by having the people who have already scouted their players include them in the database to help. If you want to add some players to the DB go ahead, we appreciate the contribution! Anyone can add players they have scouted.
Also keep in mind, they announced this a week ago, it's not like we've had a huge amount of time to prepare. With the amount of time we've had we are getting some decent information, I think the areas we look to need the most help at are D/W for the U18 team, but if we were to roll 3 lines, and add people through begining of next season by tournament we'll be fine.
Also, that's assuming we are correct in our understanding it's 15/16/17 yr olds only. If 18yr olds can play to (like 18 and under) then we will be more than fine. So we'll see, let's keep working on building our youth in the DB and we'll start out strong.
I can focus on scouting D/W for next year's U18 team then.
I understood the announcement to mean 15-18 play on u18, and 19-20 on u20, and that there is no "age-crossing" at this point (i.e., no 19 year old can play on the senior team, no 17 year old can play on the u20 team). Although, I am thinking they may change that rule.
For potential players on foreign teams, an efficient place to look is the transfers tab from teams with good facilities, including from now defunct teams.
you can look at league transfers for former seasons in each league - you don' thave to go through each team individually.

Yep, I also regularly do this through the season, but at the time I was looking for older players we might have missed for the NT, so i just recently filled my que with players that were younger sales.
Do you need to have a SP for that?

There is a good chance the DB may not work after the update (yay) but i'll work to get it corrected asap.
Also, we went vl on purpose last game, as we did not think we could overtake Brazil, however I didn't expect us to face Germany first game of playoffs.
Estonia had been playing VL on a few games prior to ours, but, we'll see how Germany goes!
