Asunto: National Team

I've updated the current members of the NT and everyone who was already uploaded that I have scouted. As a reminder, you can upload your players at:

I've set the minimum requirements for players to be uploaded fairly low, feel free to upload any player that you believe may have a chance to make the team.

For those wondering what kind of facilities the current NT players have, only 1 player on the team has a TF less than 12 (Wayne Wellman, TF-11). Most have level 13 TF, with their RF at 11 or 12. I do feel that we are behind some of the other countries in facilities, but I understand that, depending on a team's situation, cash can be limited and could be better spent elsewhere in some cases.

Some of the current players will probably be cut in the next week, specifically those players with little to no chemistry (besides prospects).

I would like to thank the community for the chance to coach the NT squad and for the vote of confidence to serve in the same capacity for a second season. With that said, I plan to step down after this season. If any of the active managers would like a role (Assistant, pick tactics for a match, scouting, etc.) with the NT this season, feel free to contact me.

I'd also like to say that the NT performed well this season, with some ups and downs. We are in a good position to advance to the World Cup this season and only gave up 1 goal in the PPM Football Challenge Cup (although we didn't score any goals). This season, the primary goal will be to enter the World Cup Finals in a favorable situation (energy and seeding) and to perform well in the WC Finals. In addition, I plan to finish raising the chemistry of our core players to 100 and begin the process of raising the chemistry of our young prospects.

I uploaded some players as well but we still need a couple of pages worth of player updates from other guys.

Thanks. It's a neat feature (scouting rival players) and has the potential to point out an opponent's weakness. However, I think the most use I've gotten from it is comparing our players to other NT players.

As far as domestic players being uploaded, we have about 2/3rd of the players updated. That's not bad for a Monday morning.

As far as the World Cup qualifiers go, I'd say 5 points and we are safe within reason. Assuming that turkey wins againest the 3 bottom teams and draws twice between the top 3 (including us) let alone whatever Venezuela or whomever does. Turkey has a new manager, so they should be tougher than last year.

Thanks for the camp notices. It's been a busy week for me, but I was able to set up the NT like I had planned.

We got lucky against Turkey, but the 3 points definitely helps (and puts us back into first place in our group). The World Cup Finals will be seeded based on Ranking rather than group placement and we currently are ranked 9th, although I suspect we'll drop down a bit before the WCF.
