Asunto: National Team

Just a reminder for anyone who has a national team player that you plan to send to camp tomorrow, please let me know. I already know that Bayern Munich and FC Corona are running camps. I have to set the 22-man roster the day before a match, in this case tomorrow (Friday). Thanks for your cooperation.

Dont forget to play my top striker Charles Needham. Last season he was a top scorer in the leagis. Today he also scores 3 goals and now has 6 goals in 5 games. His OR is only 390 but he always scorer goals.

even so, he is old and has a low career path, even if he has some special goal scoring ability outside of the player's rating, he won't be able to improve at any rate close to that of the leading forwards. I have a very similar forward who finished second in I.1 by virtue of playing more games.

Its also very hard to compare what works in D2, and what works two levels up in the international level. Drop Terrance Morse of the Pookinators in any of the 4 U.S second divisions and I would put money on the table he would score 50 goals or a rate that would earn him 50 goals in 42 games.

Well, we managed to hold onto to the win today and learned a few lessons regarding second-half tactics. We lost the possession battle, but that was probably due to Macedonia playing on normal instead of very low. I'd say I'm satisfied with the first half and we'll work on second half performance.

For those who are curious, the players who played the entire game earned 5 chemistry and the players who were subbed out or in earned a percentage of that. We'll be trying to get our projected starters up to the highest possible level of chemistry prior to the WCH qualifications and the NT Cup.

Of the 48 national teams that played today (Turkey forfeited to Venezuela), we're tied for 33rd in OTS. We were missing some key players who are in training camp, but I assume other teams are in a similar situation. While OTS does not tell the whole story and its no secret that many of the European teams have (many) more active managers than us, I did expect us to be a little higher in the rankings.

The player of the match was Quinton Brennan who scored both of his goals off of passes from Vic Newell. Max Mark scored the first goal off of a cross by Terrance Morse.

Next week the team will head to Ireland to face the team that pulled off probably the biggest upset of the week, a 2-1 victory over a star-studded Finland team with the winning goal coming in the 88th minute on a 30m FK.

Nice job guys. Great start! Now I see why Brennan sucks during the rgualr season, he's saving everything for our NT!

go to the international tab on the soccer account and go to the USA team page. Then, go to calendar and the score should be next to the game played today.

I don't know if it was just the tactics. You subbed out the goalie so that might have something to do with them scoring two goals after the new guy came in.
