Thanks for updating the database.

Goalies are the position I'm having the most difficulty with. There are quite a few goalies with high primaries, but with tech and speed at 50% of the primary. There's also not a lot of players with much experience (only 7 guys in the database with 25+). In addition, the other positions look like they'll be filled by 475+ OR players (and prospects 400+ OR) and there's only 1 goalie at 475+.

Erik Cheney is the current number one on my list for this season, with Jedidiah Petersen and Lewis Merchant on the radar as prospects. A second starter-quality goalie would be important in case of an injury.

I have him scouted and I uploaded his information, that's why he's not on the list. The list is only for goalies I haven't scouted.

Thanks for all the nice things being said about my team. I was a little shocked myself at the 2 votes but hey Obryantj is one of the teams I was hoping would run and I voted for him. I wish him the best of luck running the team and he already knows he can count on me for any help!

Raymond Crisp is my player. I am sure there are lots of goalies better than him. Goa 96 (78). Pas 40 (83). Tec 72 (73). Spe 72 (63). Hea 34 (64). 17 years old and already a 4/6 for career longevity.

that sucks. i noticed a lot of 4/6 goalies. doesn't bode well for our future.

Jedidiah Petersen , Lewis Merchant , and possibly George Burk have a good chance at being our future goalies. However, they're all currently 5/6. They could all be updated or added to the database if anyone has them scouted.

Petersen is 3rd among goalies in OR and Merchant is 8th overall in the US in AQ. Burk is in his third year starting in I.1 and should have an experience advantage on the others.

Cheney's CL path has been 6/6/6/5/5, although his secondary qualities are not that good.

If anybody has any stud 15 and 16 year olds, let me know. If they're good enough, they might be able to sneak on the team for this week's game against Macedonia.

The first group of players has been added to the roster. There is a definite lack of options at certain positions, especially G and SM. If you have a candidate at one of those positions that has not been uploaded yet, please upload them at nt-soccer.czechpp m.cz/us... .

There are still 12 roster spots available, backups will be added at G, SD, SM and F will be added in the next few days. There's still another 5-6 spots available for prospects. Hopefully a couple of 15 year olds will join the team after the next round of pulls.

However, I'm also looking for 16 year olds who are close to these criteria: 400+ OR, strong qualities, 6/6, level 11+ TF, 9+ RF, and earning experience. Those are not definitive criteria and adjustments will be allowed for certain positions. CD is the only position where it will be extremely difficult to join the team as a prospect. All other positions are wide open for prospects.

Don't post player attributes here please, just making it all the more easier for the competition.

Have you watching the international Q&A? It looks like energy is going to be different for NT players. Figured I'd give you a heads up.

Thanks for the heads up Blackkat. I do watch that thread, but the posts about NT energy happened while I was sleeping.

Also, I don't know if it was like this in hockey, but I received a message from one of the developers with a link to a thread specifically for NT managers. It looks accessible to everyone through International -> Football -> National Teams -> Informations about NT

In that thread, NT energy is confirmed as well and it may be ready before this week's games. The other big news in that thread is that the schedule is a little different.

This is what Mike22 (a developer) posted about the schedule:

1 SEASON
1-7. week - Friendlies
8.-14. week - WCH qualifications
15.week Friendly
16.week(all week long) NT CUP

The friendlies that were scheduled for weeks 8-14 will presumably be canceled and replaced with qualification matches. That leaves less time to find a lineup that "clicks".

It is also worth mentioning that many teams may be planning on running camps during the last week of the season again. Ideally we can avoid a situation where, for instance, all of our LMs are in camp that week. I won't tell other teams when to run their camps, but please keep the national team in mind if you have a player on the team.

The call-ups for the national teams are due the day before the match. Friday, I'll be calling up our 22 man roster for our first friendly. If you plan on sending a NT player to a training camp on Friday let me know. I will try to call up those that are in training camp, but not play them. In hockey this worked out for a double training bonus. The reason I want to know who will be in camp is to avoid a situation where all of the LMs (again an example) that have been called up are in camp. This will be more important in the qualification rounds and during the NT Cup (World Championship / World Cup).

Thanks to those who have helped in updating the database. It really has saved a lot of time in selecting the roster. It is a quick and simple process to upload a player; once you're used to it, it can take as little as 15 seconds per player.

I do find it funny that someone uploaded one of my own players this morning. Metz hasn't been put on the team primarily due to his CL history (he was at 17 and 4/6 last season). The two 4/6 players on the roster are projected to start for the team this season and that is why they are there.

Yeah that was me, i udated him along with a few more guys. I just kept going down the list with anyone I had scouted that was more the 2 days old.
